2022-06-22ASoC: core: Make snd_soc_unregister_card() return voidUwe Kleine-König1-1/+3
The function snd_soc_unregister_card() returned 0 unconditionally and most callers don't care to check the return value. Make it return void and adapt the callers that didn't ignore the return value before. This is a preparation for making platform remove callbacks return void. 2022-03-08ASoC: atmel: Fix error handling in snd_proto_probeMiaoqian Lin1-8/+12
The device_node pointer is returned by of_parse_phandle() with refcount incremented. We should use of_node_put() on it when done. This function only calls of_node_put() in the regular path. And it will cause refcount leak in error paths. Fix this by calling of_node_put() in error handling too. 2019-06-28ASoC: amtel: mikroe-proto: consider CPU-Platform possibilityKuninori Morimoto1-2/+5
commit 318ebbe8060d96 ("ASoC: atmel: mikroe-proto: don't select unnecessary Platform") Current ALSA SoC avoid to add duplicate component to rtd, and this driver was selecting CPU component as Platform component. Thus, above patch removed Platform settings from this driver, because it assumed these are same component. But, some CPU driver is using generic DMAEngine, in such case, both CPU component and Platform component will have same of_node/name. In other words, there are some components which are different but have same of_node/name. In such case, Card driver definitely need to select Platform even though it is same as CPU. It is depends on CPU driver, but is difficult to know it from Card driver. This patch reverts above patch.
