2019-08-08USB: Move wusbcore and UWB to staging as it is obsoleteGreg Kroah-Hartman1-38/+0
The UWB and wusbcore code is long obsolete, so let us just move the code out of the real part of the kernel and into the drivers/staging/ location with plans to remove it entirely in a few releases. 2019-06-18wusb: switch to cbcmac transformArd Biesheuvel1-5/+3
The wusb code takes a very peculiar approach at implementing CBC-MAC, by using plain CBC into a scratch buffer, and taking the output IV as the MAC. We can clean up this code substantially by switching to the cbcmac shash, as exposed by the CCM template. To ensure that the module is loaded on demand, add the cbcmac template name as a module alias. 2019-01-22USB: add missing SPDX lines to Kconfig and MakefilesGreg Kroah-Hartman1-0/+1
There are a few remaining drivers/usb/ files that do not have SPDX identifiers in them, all of these are either Kconfig or Makefiles. Add the correct GPL-2.0 identifier to them to make scanning tools happy. Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

Add USB build dependency for USB_WUSB_CBAF. Signed-off-by: Thomas Pugliese <thomas.pugliese@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-09-23usb: wusbcore: remove USB_WUSB build dependency on PCIThomas Pugliese1-1/+0
Wireless USB does not require PCI so remove USB_WUSB build dependency on PCI. Signed-off-by: Thomas Pugliese <thomas.pugliese@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-04-09USB: regroup all depends on USB within an if USB blockFlorian Fainelli1-2/+0
This patch removes the depends on USB from all config symbols in drivers/usb/host/Kconfig and replace that with an if USB / endif block as suggested by Alan Stern. Some source ... Kconfig lines have been shuffled around to permit a better regroupment of the Kconfig files depending on "config USB" item. No functionnal change is introduced. 2012-09-17USB: remove CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL dependanciesGreg Kroah-Hartman1-2/+1
As discussed at the kernel summit this year, CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL means nothing, so let's get rid of it. 2008-09-17uwb: depend on EXPERIMENTALDavid Vrabel1-1/+2
The UWB stack has some sysfs APIs that will change thus it's best marked as EXPERIMENTAL until these APIs are finalized. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>
2008-09-17wusb: wusb-cbaf (CBA driver) sysfs ABI simplificationFelipe Zimmerle1-0/+23
Simplify the sysfs ABI of the wusb-cbaf (Cable Based Association) driver: use one value per file and cause the write of the CHID to fetch the CDID (instead of requiring a separate read). Update the example wusb-cbaf script to work with this revised ABI. Signed-off-by: Felipe Zimmerle <felipe.zimmerle@indt.org.br> Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>
