2022-09-07net: hns3: add support config dscp map to tcGuangbin Huang1-0/+5
This patch add support config dscp map to tc by implementing ieee_setapp and ieee_delapp of struct dcbnl_rtnl_ops. Driver will convert mapping relationship from dscp-prio to dscp-tc. 2022-06-13net: hns3: fix tm port shapping of fibre port is incorrect after driver ↵Guangbin Huang1-0/+1
initialization Currently in driver initialization process, driver will set shapping parameters of tm port to default speed read from firmware. However, the speed of SFP module may not be default speed, so shapping parameters of tm port may be incorrect. To fix this problem, driver sets new shapping parameters for tm port after getting exact speed of SFP module in this case. 2021-12-03net: hns3: fix hns3 driver header file not self-contained issueJie Wang1-0/+6
The hns3 driver header file uses the structure of other files, but does not include corresponding file, which causes a check warning that the header file is not self-contained. Therefore, the required header file is included in the header file, and the structure declaration is added to the header file to avoid cyclic dependency of the header file. 2021-11-10net: hns3: fix pfc packet number incorrect after querying pfc parametersJie Wang1-2/+2
Currently, driver will send command to firmware to query pfc packet number when user uses dcb tool to get pfc parameters. However, the periodic service task will also periodically query and record MAC statistics, including pfc packet number. As the hardware registers of statistics is cleared after reading, it will cause pfc packet number of MAC statistics are not correct after using dcb tool to get pfc parameters. To fix this problem, when user uses dcb tool to get pfc parameters, driver updates MAC statistics firstly and then get pfc packet number from MAC statistics. 2021-05-20net: hns3: refactor dump qs shaper of debugfsGuangbin Huang1-0/+2
Currently, user gets qset shaper parameters by implementing debugfs command "echo dump qs shaper > cmd", this command will dump info in dmesg. It's unnecessary and heavy. As there is "tm_qset" file in tm directory for dump qset info, to optimize these command, merge qset shaper parameters to tm_qset file and use cat command to get them. The display style is below: $ cat tm_qset ID MAP_PRI LINK_VLD MODE DWRR IR_B IR_U IR_S BS_B BS_S FLAG 0000 0 1 dwrr 100 150 7 0 5 20 0 0001 0 0 sp 0 150 7 0 5 20 0 Signed-off-by: Guangbin Huang <huangguangbin2@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Huazhong Tan <tanhuazhong@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2021-05-20net: hns3: refactor dump tm of debugfsGuangbin Huang1-3/+12
Currently, user gets some tm info by implementing debugfs command "echo dump tm > cmd", this command will dump info in dmesg. It's unnecessary and heavy. In addition, the info of this command mixes info of qset, priority, pg and port. Qset and priority have their own command to get info of themself, so can remove info of qset and priority from this command. To optimize it, create two new files "tm_pg", "tm_port" in tm directory and use cat command to separately get info of pg and port. The display style is below: $ cat tm_pg ID PRI_MAP MODE DWRR C_IR_B C_IR_U C_IR_S C_BS_B C_BS_S ... 00 0x1f dwrr 1 75 9 0 31 20 ... $ cat tm_port IR_B IR_U IR_S BS_B BS_S FLAG RATE(Mbps) 75 9 0 31 20 1 200000 Signed-off-by: Guangbin Huang <huangguangbin2@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Huazhong Tan <tanhuazhong@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2021-05-20net: hns3: refactor dump tm map of debugfsGuangbin Huang1-0/+2
Currently, the debugfs command for tm map is implemented by "echo xxxx > cmd", and record the information in dmesg. It's unnecessary and heavy. To improve it, create a single file "tm_map" for it, and query it by command "cat tm_map", return the result to userspace, rather than record in dmesg. As user can't specify queue id in cat command, driver will return info of all queue id. The display style is below: $ cat tm_map queue_id qset_id pri_id tc_id 0000 0000 00 00 INDEX | TM BP QSET MAPPING: 0000 | 00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000 0256 | 00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000002:00000000 0512 | 00000000:00000000:00000000:00000004:00000000:00000000:00000000 0768 | 00000000:00000008:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000000 Signed-off-by: Guangbin Huang <huangguangbin2@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Huazhong Tan <tanhuazhong@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2020-11-21net: hns3: add support for 1280 queuesYonglong Liu1-0/+11
For DEVICE_VERSION_V1/2, there are total 1024 queues and queue sets. For DEVICE_VERSION_V3, it increases to 1280, and can be assigned to one pf, so remove the limitation of 1024. To keep compatible with DEVICE_VERSION_V1/2 and old driver version, the queue number is split into two part: tqp_num(range 0~1023) and ext_tqp_num(range 1024~1279). 2020-09-27net: hns3: replace the macro of max tm rate with the queried specificationGuangbin Huang1-0/+2
The max tm rate is a fixed value(100Gb/s) now as it is defined by a macro. In order to support other rates in different kinds of device, it is better to use specification queried from firmware to replace this macro. 2019-06-28net: hns3: change SSU's buffer allocation according to UMYunsheng Lin1-1/+1
Currently when there is share buffer in the SSU(storage switching unit), the low waterline for RX private buffer is too low to keep the hardware running. Hardware may have processed all the packet stored in the private buffer of the low waterline before the new packet comes, because hardware only tell the peer send packet again when the private buffer is under the low waterline. So this patch only allocate RX private buffer if there is enough buffer according to hardware user manual. This patch also reserve some buffer for reusing when TC num is less than or equal to 2, and change PAUSE_TRANS_GAP & HCLGE_NON_DCB_ADDITIONAL_BUF according to hardware user manual. 2019-01-18net: hns3: fix user configuration loss for ethtool -LHuazhong Tan1-0/+1
Ethtool -L option with the combined parameter is for changing the number of multi-purpose channels of the specified network device. Under the current scheme, the user configuration information will be lost after the reset or TC information changed. This patch fixes this issue. By default, this configuration is set to the minimum between the number of queues for each enabled TCs and the maximum number support available in the hardware. When there is a user configuration, regardless of the reset or TC information change, it should keep the user's configuration while it is under the hardware limits, otherwise set to the maximum number support available in the hardware. 2018-11-19net: hns3: add common validation in hclge_dcbYunsheng Lin1-2/+2
Before setting tm related configuration to hardware, driver needs to check the configuration provided by user is valid. Currently hclge_ieee_setets and hclge_setup_tc both implement their own checking, which has a lot in common. This patch addes hclge_dcb_common_validate to do the common checking. The checking in hclge_tm_prio_tc_info_update and hclge_tm_schd_info_update is unnecessary now, so change the return type to void, which removes the need to do error handling when one of the checking fails. Also, ets->prio_tc is indexed by user prio and ets->tc_tsa is indexed by tc num, so this patch changes them to use different index.
