2022-08-16i2c: Make remove callback return voidUwe Kleine-König1-3/+1
The value returned by an i2c driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before. 2020-11-27mfd: da9055: Drop of_match_ptr from of_device_id tableKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
The driver can match only via the DT table so the table should be always used and the of_match_ptr does not have any sense (this also allows ACPI matching via PRP0001, even though it is not relevant here). 2014-02-10ASoC: da9055: Fix device registration of PMIC and CODEC devicesAdam Thomson1-2/+10
Currently the I2C device Ids conflict for the MFD and CODEC so cannot be both instantiated on one platform. This patch updates the Ids and names to make them unique from each other. It should be noted that the I2C addresses for both PMIC and CODEC are modifiable so instantiation of the two are kept as separate devices, rather than instantiating the CODEC from the MFD code.
