2021-11-28drm/msm/edp: drop old eDP supportDmitry Baryshkov1-198/+0
MSM DRM driver has support for eDP block present on MSM 8x74/8x84 SoC families. However since addition back in 2015 this driver received only generic fixes. No actual devices with these SoCs supported upstream (or by the community) seem to support eDP panels. Judging from downstream kernels the eDP was present only on MSM8974 LIQUID or on APQ8084 CDP. Remove this driver. 2020-03-19drm/msm: avoid double-attaching hdmi/edp bridgesIlia Mirkin1-4/+0
Each of hdmi and edp are already attached in msm_*_bridge_init. A second attachment returns -EBUSY, failing the driver load. Tested with HDMI on IFC6410 (APQ8064 / MDP4), but eDP case should be analogous. 2019-08-28drm/msm: Use drm_attach_bridge() to attach a bridge to an encoderBoris Brezillon1-1/+3
This is part of our attempt to make the bridge chain a double-linked list based on the generic list helpers. In order to do that, we must patch all drivers manipulating the encoder->bridge field directly.
