2018-03-09arch: remove frv portArnd Bergmann206-27155/+0
The Fujitsu FRV kernel port has been around for a long time, but has not seen regular updates in several years and instead was marked 'Orphaned' in 2016 by long-time maintainer David Howells. The SoC product line apparently is apparently still around in the form of the Socionext Milbeaut image processor, but this one no longer uses the FRV CPU cores. This removes all FRV specific files from the kernel. Link: http://www.socionext.com/en/products/assp/milbeaut/ Cc: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2018-02-11unify {de,}mangle_poll(), get rid of kernel-side POLL...Al Viro1-18/+1
except, again, POLLFREE and POLL_BUSY_LOOP. With this, we finally get to the promised end result: - POLL{IN,OUT,...} are plain integers and *not* in __poll_t, so any stray instances of ->poll() still using those will be caught by sparse. - eventpoll.c and select.c warning-free wrt __poll_t - no more kernel-side definitions of POLL... - userland ones are visible through the entire kernel (and used pretty much only for mangle/demangle) - same behavior as after the first series (i.e. sparc et.al. epoll(2) working correctly). git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/clk/linux Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd: "The core framework has a handful of patches this time around, mostly due to the clk rate protection support added by Jerome Brunet. This feature will allow consumers to lock in a certain rate on the output of a clk so that things like audio playback don't hear pops when the clk frequency changes due to shared parent clks changing rates. Currently the clk API doesn't guarantee the rate of a clk stays at the rate you request after clk_set_rate() is called, so this new API will allow drivers to express that requirement. Beyond this, the core got some debugfs pretty printing patches and a couple minor non-critical fixes. Looking outside of the core framework diff we have some new driver additions and the removal of a legacy TI clk driver. Both of these hit high in the dirstat. Also, the removal of the asm-generic/clkdev.h file causes small one-liners in all the architecture Kbuild files. Overall, the driver diff seems to be the normal stuff that comes all the time to fix little problems here and there and to support new hardware. 2018-01-30Merge branch 'misc.poll' of ↵Linus Torvalds1-3/+18
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/viro/vfs Pull poll annotations from Al Viro: "This introduces a __bitwise type for POLL### bitmap, and propagates the annotations through the tree. Most of that stuff is as simple as 'make ->poll() instances return __poll_t and do the same to local variables used to hold the future return value'. Some of the obvious brainos found in process are fixed (e.g. POLLIN misspelled as POLL_IN). At that point the amount of sparse warnings is low and most of them are for genuine bugs - e.g. ->poll() instance deciding to return -EINVAL instead of a bitmap. I hadn't touched those in this series - it's large enough as it is. Another problem it has caught was eventpoll() ABI mess; select.c and eventpoll.c assumed that corresponding POLL### and EPOLL### were equal. That's true for some, but not all of them - EPOLL### are arch-independent, but POLL### are not. The last commit in this series separates userland POLL### values from the (now arch-independent) kernel-side ones, converting between them in the few places where they are copied to/from userland. AFAICS, this is the least disruptive fix preserving poll(2) ABI and making epoll() work on all architectures. As it is, it's simply broken on sparc - try to give it EPOLLWRNORM and it will trigger only on what would've triggered EPOLLWRBAND on other architectures. EPOLLWRBAND and EPOLLRDHUP, OTOH, are never triggered at all on sparc. With this patch they should work consistently on all architectures" * 'misc.poll' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/viro/vfs: (37 commits) make kernel-side POLL... arch-independent eventpoll: no need to mask the result of epi_item_poll() again eventpoll: constify struct epoll_event pointers debugging printk in sg_poll() uses %x to print POLL... bitmap annotate poll(2) guts 9p: untangle ->poll() mess ->si_band gets POLL... bitmap stored into a user-visible long field ring_buffer_poll_wait() return value used as return value of ->poll() the rest of drivers/*: annotate ->poll() instances media: annotate ->poll() instances fs: annotate ->poll() instances ipc, kernel, mm: annotate ->poll() instances net: annotate ->poll() instances apparmor: annotate ->poll() instances tomoyo: annotate ->poll() instances sound: annotate ->poll() instances acpi: annotate ->poll() instances crypto: annotate ->poll() instances block: annotate ->poll() instances x86: annotate ->poll() instances ...
2018-01-30Merge branch 'siginfo-linus' of ↵Linus Torvalds2-13/+1
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ebiederm/user-namespace Pull siginfo cleanups from Eric Biederman: "Long ago when 2.4 was just a testing release copy_siginfo_to_user was made to copy individual fields to userspace, possibly for efficiency and to ensure initialized values were not copied to userspace. Unfortunately the design was complex, it's assumptions unstated, and humans are fallible and so while it worked much of the time that design failed to ensure unitialized memory is not copied to userspace. This set of changes is part of a new design to clean up siginfo and simplify things, and hopefully make the siginfo handling robust enough that a simple inspection of the code can be made to ensure we don't copy any unitializied fields to userspace. The design is to unify struct siginfo and struct compat_siginfo into a single definition that is shared between all architectures so that anyone adding to the set of information shared with struct siginfo can see the whole picture. Hopefully ensuring all future si_code assignments are arch independent. The design is to unify copy_siginfo_to_user32 and copy_siginfo_from_user32 so that those function are complete and cope with all of the different cases documented in signinfo_layout. I don't think there was a single implementation of either of those functions that was complete and correct before my changes unified them. The design is to introduce a series of helpers including force_siginfo_fault that take the values that are needed in struct siginfo and build the siginfo structure for their callers. Ensuring struct siginfo is built correctly. The remaining work for 4.17 (unless someone thinks it is post -rc1 material) is to push usage of those helpers down into the architectures so that architecture specific code will not need to deal with the fiddly work of intializing struct siginfo, and then when struct siginfo is guaranteed to be fully initialized change copy siginfo_to_user into a simple wrapper around copy_to_user. Further there is work in progress on the issues that have been documented requires arch specific knowledge to sort out. The changes below fix or at least document all of the issues that have been found with siginfo generation. Then proceed to unify struct siginfo the 32 bit helpers that copy siginfo to and from userspace, and generally clean up anything that is not arch specific with regards to siginfo generation. It is a lot but with the unification you can of siginfo you can already see the code reduction in the kernel" * 'siginfo-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ebiederm/user-namespace: (45 commits) signal/memory-failure: Use force_sig_mceerr and send_sig_mceerr mm/memory_failure: Remove unused trapno from memory_failure signal/ptrace: Add force_sig_ptrace_errno_trap and use it where needed signal/powerpc: Remove unnecessary signal_code parameter of do_send_trap signal: Helpers for faults with specialized siginfo layouts signal: Add send_sig_fault and force_sig_fault signal: Replace memset(info,...) with clear_siginfo for clarity signal: Don't use structure initializers for struct siginfo signal/arm64: Better isolate the COMPAT_TASK portion of ptrace_hbptriggered ptrace: Use copy_siginfo in setsiginfo and getsiginfo signal: Unify and correct copy_siginfo_to_user32 signal: Remove the code to clear siginfo before calling copy_siginfo_from_user32 signal: Unify and correct copy_siginfo_from_user32 signal/blackfin: Remove pointless UID16_SIGINFO_COMPAT_NEEDED signal/blackfin: Move the blackfin specific si_codes to asm-generic/siginfo.h signal/tile: Move the tile specific si_codes to asm-generic/siginfo.h signal/frv: Move the frv specific si_codes to asm-generic/siginfo.h signal/ia64: Move the ia64 specific si_codes to asm-generic/siginfo.h signal/powerpc: Remove redefinition of NSIGTRAP on powerpc signal: Move addr_lsb into the _sigfault union for clarity ...

Having si_codes in many different files simply encourages duplicate definitions that can cause problems later. To avoid that merce the frv specific si_codes into uapi/asm-generic/siginfo.h This allows the removal of arch/frv/uapi/include/asm/siginfo.h as the last last meaningful definition it held was FPE_MDAOVF. 2018-01-09Construct init thread stack in the linker script rather than by unionDavid Howells1-3/+0
Construct the init thread stack in the linker script rather than doing it by means of a union so that ia64's init_task.c can be got rid of. The following symbols are then made available from INIT_TASK_DATA() linker script macro: init_thread_union init_stack INIT_TASK_DATA() also expands the region to THREAD_SIZE to accommodate the size of the init stack. init_thread_union is given its own section so that it can be placed into the stack space in the right order. I'm assuming that the ia64 ordering is correct and that the task_struct is first and the thread_info second. 2017-12-05bpf: correct broken uapi for BPF_PROG_TYPE_PERF_EVENT program typeHendrik Brueckner1-0/+2
Commit 0515e5999a466dfe ("bpf: introduce BPF_PROG_TYPE_PERF_EVENT program type") introduced the bpf_perf_event_data structure which exports the pt_regs structure. This is OK for multiple architectures but fail for s390 and arm64 which do not export pt_regs. Programs using them, for example, the bpf selftest fail to compile on these architectures. For s390, exporting the pt_regs is not an option because s390 wants to allow changes to it. For arm64, there is a user_pt_regs structure that covers parts of the pt_regs structure for use by user space. To solve the broken uapi for s390 and arm64, introduce an abstract type for pt_regs and add an asm/bpf_perf_event.h file that concretes the type. An asm-generic header file covers the architectures that export pt_regs today. The arch-specific enablement for s390 and arm64 follows in separate commits. empty_bad_page() and empty_bad_pte_table() seem to be relics from old days which is not used by any code for a long time. 2017-11-02License cleanup: add SPDX license identifier to uapi header files with a licenseGreg Kroah-Hartman6-0/+6
Many user space API headers have licensing information, which is either incomplete, badly formatted or just a shorthand for referring to the license under which the file is supposed to be. This makes it hard for compliance tools to determine the correct license. Update these files with an SPDX license identifier. The identifier was chosen based on the license information in the file. GPL/LGPL licensed headers get the matching GPL/LGPL SPDX license identifier with the added 'WITH Linux-syscall-note' exception, which is the officially assigned exception identifier for the kernel syscall exception: NOTE! This copyright does *not* cover user programs that use kernel services by normal system calls - this is merely considered normal use of the kernel, and does *not* fall under the heading of "derived work". This exception makes it possible to include GPL headers into non GPL code, without confusing license compliance tools. Headers which have either explicit dual licensing or are just licensed under a non GPL license are updated with the corresponding SPDX identifier and the GPLv2 with syscall exception identifier. The format is: ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR SPDX-ID-OF-OTHER-LICENSE) SPDX license identifiers are a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. The update does not remove existing license information as this has to be done on a case by case basis and the copyright holders might have to be consulted. This will happen in a separate step. This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and Philippe Ombredanne. See the previous patch in this series for the methodology of how this patch was researched. license Many user space API headers are missing licensing information, which makes it hard for compliance tools to determine the correct license. By default are files without license information under the default license of the kernel, which is GPLV2. 2017-11-02License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no licenseGreg Kroah-Hartman30-0/+30
Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license. By default all files without license information are under the default license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2. Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0' SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and Philippe Ombredanne. How this work was done: Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of the use cases: - file had no licensing information it it. - file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it, - file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information, Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords. The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files. The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s) to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation. Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was: - Files considered eligible had to be source code files. - Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5 lines of source - File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5 lines). All documentation files were explicitly excluded. The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license identifiers to apply. - when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was considered to have no license information in it, and the top level COPYING file license applied. For non */uapi/* files that summary was: SPDX license identifier # files ---------------------------------------------------|------- GPL-2.0 11139 and resulted in the first patch in this series. If that file was a */uapi/* path one, it was "GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note" otherwise it was "GPL-2.0". Results of that was: SPDX license identifier # files ---------------------------------------------------|------- GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 930 and resulted in the second patch in this series. - if a file had some form of licensing information in it, and was one of the */uapi/* ones, it was denoted with the Linux-syscall-note if any GPL family license was found in the file or had no licensing in it (per prior point). Results summary: SPDX license identifier # files ---------------------------------------------------|------ GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 270 GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 169 ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-2-Clause) 21 ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 17 LGPL-2.1+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 15 GPL-1.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 14 ((GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 5 LGPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 4 LGPL-2.1 WITH Linux-syscall-note 3 ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR MIT) 3 ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) AND MIT) 1 and that resulted in the third patch in this series. - when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became the concluded license(s). - when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a license but the other didn't, or they both detected different licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred. - In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics). - When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation. - If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier, the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later in time. In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation. Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so they are related. Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks in about 15000 files. In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the correct identifier. Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch version early this week with: - a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected license ids and scores - reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+ files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct - reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the different types of files to be modified. These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to generate the patches. 2017-08-25futex: Remove duplicated code and fix undefined behaviourJiri Slaby2-24/+6
There is code duplicated over all architecture's headers for futex_atomic_op_inuser. Namely op decoding, access_ok check for uaddr, and comparison of the result. Remove this duplication and leave up to the arches only the needed assembly which is now in arch_futex_atomic_op_inuser. This effectively distributes the Will Deacon's arm64 fix for undefined behaviour reported by UBSAN to all architectures. The fix was done in commit 5f16a046f8e1 (arm64: futex: Fix undefined behaviour with FUTEX_OP_OPARG_SHIFT usage). Look there for an example dump. And as suggested by Thomas, check for negative oparg too, because it was also reported to cause undefined behaviour report. Note that s390 removed access_ok check in d12a29703 ("s390/uaccess: remove pointless access_ok() checks") as access_ok there returns true. 2017-07-24signal: Remove kernel interal si_code magicEric W. Biederman1-1/+1
struct siginfo is a union and the kernel since 2.4 has been hiding a union tag in the high 16bits of si_code using the values: __SI_KILL __SI_TIMER __SI_POLL __SI_FAULT __SI_CHLD __SI_RT __SI_MESGQ __SI_SYS While this looks plausible on the surface, in practice this situation has not worked well. - Injected positive signals are not copied to user space properly unless they have these magic high bits set. - Injected positive signals are not reported properly by signalfd unless they have these magic high bits set. - These kernel internal values leaked to userspace via ptrace_peek_siginfo - It was possible to inject these kernel internal values and cause the the kernel to misbehave. - Kernel developers got confused and expected these kernel internal values in userspace in kernel self tests. - Kernel developers got confused and set si_code to __SI_FAULT which is SI_USER in userspace which causes userspace to think an ordinary user sent the signal and that it was not kernel generated. - The values make it impossible to reorganize the code to transform siginfo_copy_to_user into a plain copy_to_user. As si_code must be massaged before being passed to userspace. So remove these kernel internal si codes and make the kernel code simpler and more maintainable. To replace these kernel internal magic si_codes introduce the helper function siginfo_layout, that takes a signal number and an si_code and computes which union member of siginfo is being used. Have siginfo_layout return an enumeration so that gcc will have enough information to warn if a switch statement does not handle all of union members. A couple of architectures have a messed up ABI that defines signal specific duplications of SI_USER which causes more special cases in siginfo_layout than I would like. The good news is only problem architectures pay the cost. Update all of the code that used the previous magic __SI_ values to use the new SIL_ values and to call siginfo_layout to get those values. Escept where not all of the cases are handled remove the defaults in the switch statements so that if a new case is missed in the future the lack will show up at compile time. Modify the code that copies siginfo si_code to userspace to just copy the value and not cast si_code to a short first. The high bits are no longer used to hold a magic union member. Fixup the siginfo header files to stop including the __SI_ values in their constants and for the headers that were missing it to properly update the number of si_codes for each signal type. The fixes to copy_siginfo_from_user32 implementations has the interesting property that several of them perviously should never have worked as the __SI_ values they depended up where kernel internal. With that dependency gone those implementations should work much better. The idea of not passing the __SI_ values out to userspace and then not reinserting them has been tested with criu and criu worked without changes. Ref: 2.4.0-test1 Signed-off-by: "Eric W. 2017-06-21net: introduce SO_PEERGROUPS getsockoptDavid Herrmann1-0/+2
This adds the new getsockopt(2) option SO_PEERGROUPS on SOL_SOCKET to retrieve the auxiliary groups of the remote peer. It is designed to naturally extend SO_PEERCRED. That is, the underlying data is from the same credentials. Regarding its syntax, it is based on SO_PEERSEC. That is, if the provided buffer is too small, ERANGE is returned and @optlen is updated. Otherwise, the information is copied, @optlen is set to the actual size, and 0 is returned. While SO_PEERCRED (and thus `struct ucred') already returns the primary group, it lacks the auxiliary group vector. However, nearly all access controls (including kernel side VFS and SYSVIPC, but also user-space polkit, DBus, ...) consider the entire set of groups, rather than just the primary group. But this is currently not possible with pure SO_PEERCRED. Instead, user-space has to work around this and query the system database for the auxiliary groups of a UID retrieved via SO_PEERCRED. Unfortunately, there is no race-free way to query the auxiliary groups of the PID/UID retrieved via SO_PEERCRED. Hence, the current user-space solution is to use getgrouplist(3p), which itself falls back to NSS and whatever is configured in nsswitch.conf(3). This effectively checks which groups we *would* assign to the user if it logged in *now*. On normal systems it is as easy as reading /etc/group, but with NSS it can resort to quering network databases (eg., LDAP), using IPC or network communication. Long story short: Whenever we want to use auxiliary groups for access checks on IPC, we need further IPC to talk to the user/group databases, rather than just relying on SO_PEERCRED and the incoming socket. This is unfortunate, and might even result in dead-locks if the database query uses the same IPC as the original request. So far, those recursions / dead-locks have been avoided by using primitive IPC for all crucial NSS modules. However, we want to avoid re-inventing the wheel for each NSS module that might be involved in user/group queries. Hence, we would preferably make DBus (and other IPC that supports access-management based on groups) work without resorting to the user/group database. This new SO_PEERGROUPS ioctl would allow us to make dbus-daemon work without ever calling into NSS. 2017-06-19mm: larger stack guard gap, between vmasHugh Dickins1-1/+1
Stack guard page is a useful feature to reduce a risk of stack smashing into a different mapping. We have been using a single page gap which is sufficient to prevent having stack adjacent to a different mapping. But this seems to be insufficient in the light of the stack usage in userspace. E.g. glibc uses as large as 64kB alloca() in many commonly used functions. Others use constructs liks gid_t buffer[NGROUPS_MAX] which is 256kB or stack strings with MAX_ARG_STRLEN. This will become especially dangerous for suid binaries and the default no limit for the stack size limit because those applications can be tricked to consume a large portion of the stack and a single glibc call could jump over the guard page. These attacks are not theoretical, unfortunatelly. Make those attacks less probable by increasing the stack guard gap to 1MB (on systems with 4k pages; but make it depend on the page size because systems with larger base pages might cap stack allocations in the PAGE_SIZE units) which should cover larger alloca() and VLA stack allocations. It is obviously not a full fix because the problem is somehow inherent, but it should reduce attack space a lot. One could argue that the gap size should be configurable from userspace, but that can be done later when somebody finds that the new 1MB is wrong for some special case applications. For now, add a kernel command line option (stack_guard_gap) to specify the stack gap size (in page units). Implementation wise, first delete all the old code for stack guard page: because although we could get away with accounting one extra page in a stack vma, accounting a larger gap can break userspace - case in point, a program run with "ulimit -S -v 20000" failed when the 1MB gap was counted for RLIMIT_AS; similar problems could come with RLIMIT_MLOCK and strict non-overcommit mode. Instead of keeping gap inside the stack vma, maintain the stack guard gap as a gap between vmas: using vm_start_gap() in place of vm_start (or vm_end_gap() in place of vm_end if VM_GROWSUP) in just those few places which need to respect the gap - mainly arch_get_unmapped_area(), and and the vma tree's subtree_gap support for that. Unfortunately this change broke the build for frv: kernel/built-in.o: In function `__do_softirq': (.text+0x6460): relocation truncated to fit: R_FRV_GPREL12 against symbol `jiffies' defined in *ABS* section in .tmp_vmlinux1 kernel/built-in.o: In function `__do_softirq': (.text+0x6574): relocation truncated to fit: R_FRV_GPREL12 against symbol `jiffies' defined in *ABS* section in .tmp_vmlinux1 kernel/built-in.o: In function `pwq_activate_delayed_work': workqueue.c:(.text+0x15b9c): relocation truncated to fit: R_FRV_GPREL12 against symbol `jiffies' defined in *ABS* section in .tmp_vmlinux1 ... Add __jiffy_arch_data to the declaration of jiffies and use it on frv to include the section specification. For all other platforms __jiffy_arch_data (currently) has no effect. 2017-05-11uapi: export all headers under uapi directoriesNicolas Dichtel1-33/+0
Regularly, when a new header is created in include/uapi/, the developer forgets to add it in the corresponding Kbuild file. This error is usually detected after the release is out. In fact, all headers under uapi directories should be exported, thus it's useless to have an exhaustive list. After this patch, the following files, which were not exported, are now exported (with make headers_install_all): asm-arc/kvm_para.h asm-arc/ucontext.h asm-blackfin/shmparam.h asm-blackfin/ucontext.h asm-c6x/shmparam.h asm-c6x/ucontext.h asm-cris/kvm_para.h asm-h8300/shmparam.h asm-h8300/ucontext.h asm-hexagon/shmparam.h asm-m32r/kvm_para.h asm-m68k/kvm_para.h asm-m68k/shmparam.h asm-metag/kvm_para.h asm-metag/shmparam.h asm-metag/ucontext.h asm-mips/hwcap.h asm-mips/reg.h asm-mips/ucontext.h asm-nios2/kvm_para.h asm-nios2/ucontext.h asm-openrisc/shmparam.h asm-parisc/kvm_para.h asm-powerpc/perf_regs.h asm-sh/kvm_para.h asm-sh/ucontext.h asm-tile/shmparam.h asm-unicore32/shmparam.h asm-unicore32/ucontext.h asm-x86/hwcap2.h asm-xtensa/kvm_para.h drm/armada_drm.h drm/etnaviv_drm.h drm/vgem_drm.h linux/aspeed-lpc-ctrl.h linux/auto_dev-ioctl.h linux/bcache.h linux/btrfs_tree.h linux/can/vxcan.h linux/cifs/cifs_mount.h linux/coresight-stm.h linux/cryptouser.h linux/fsmap.h linux/genwqe/genwqe_card.h linux/hash_info.h linux/kcm.h linux/kcov.h linux/kfd_ioctl.h linux/lightnvm.h linux/module.h linux/nbd-netlink.h linux/nilfs2_api.h linux/nilfs2_ondisk.h linux/nsfs.h linux/pr.h linux/qrtr.h linux/rpmsg.h linux/sched/types.h linux/sed-opal.h linux/smc.h linux/smc_diag.h linux/stm.h linux/switchtec_ioctl.h linux/vfio_ccw.h linux/wil6210_uapi.h rdma/bnxt_re-abi.h Note that I have removed from this list the files which are generated in every exported directories (like .install or .install.cmd).
