2015-11-19ARM: shmobile: Remove legacy mach/irqs.hLaurent Pinchart1-10/+0
The header isn't needed anymore now that all SoCs use multiplatform kernels. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart+renesas@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>
2015-07-06ARM: shmobile: Remove obsolete zboot supportGeert Uytterhoeven2-122/+0
The last user of the zboot code was the KZM-A9-GT legacy board code, which has been removed. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>
2015-07-06ARM: shmobile: Remove legacy board code for KZM-A9-GTGeert Uytterhoeven2-415/+0
The KZM-A9-GT board is sufficiently supported by DT-based and board-less SH-Mobile AG5 (sh73a0) multiplatform kernels. Hence remove the legacy board code to reduce maintenance effort. Lacking areas are: - USB (it does't work in legacy, neither), - LCDC (the LCDC is wired to the legacy INTC, which is not planned to be supported with DT). - DMAC/IPMMU (no DT bindings are planned). 2015-02-24ARM: shmobile: kzm9g-reference: Remove board C code and DT fileSimon Horman1-1/+1
Now that the sh73a0 generic multiplatform case has the same feature set as the kzm9g DT reference board code, we get rid of the latter. DT reference code in the future shall make use of the sh73a0 multiplatform support code with the generic SoC machine vector. 2015-02-24ARM: shmobile: Remove mach/clkdev.hMagnus Damm1-7/+0
Move over ARCH_SHMOBILE_LEGACY to use the default legacy ARM implementations of __clk_get() and __clk_put() in <asm/clkdev.h> by deselecting HAVE_MACH_CLKDEV. This has the nice side effect that <mach/clkdev.h> is no longer used and can be removed. They are still doing some enablement for classic boards first, and then come up with DT bindings when they've had a chance to learn more about the hardware. Not necessarily a bad way to go about it, and they're looking at moving some of the temporary board code resulting from it to drivers/staging instead to avoid the churn here. As a result of the shmobile clock cleanups, we end up merging quite a bit of SH code here as well. 2014-04-14ARM: shmobile: Introduce shmobile_clk_workaround()Magnus Damm1-0/+16
Introduce a new clock workaround function used by DT reference code on the mach-shmobile subarchitecture. The new function shmobile_clk_workaround() is used to configure clkdev to allow DT and platform devices to coexist. It is possible for the DT reference board code to also request enabling of the clock in case the driver does not implement clock control. 2014-04-14ARM: shmobile: Remove EMEV2 header fileMagnus Damm1-8/+0
There is no C board code left for the EMEV2 SoC, so get rid of the emev2.h include file to save some lines. While at it make functions static. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> [horms+renesas@verge.net.au: Resolved conflict] Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>
2014-04-14ARM: shmobile: Remove legacy EMEV2 SoC supportMagnus Damm1-1/+0
Get rid of legacy EMEV2 SoC code including the legacy clock framework implementation. The multiplatform implementation together with DT board support shall be used instead. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>
2014-04-14ARM: shmobile: Add shared shmobile_init_delay()Magnus Damm1-0/+1
Introduce shmobile_init_delay() that gets CPU specific parameters from DT and sets up the early delay from there. This allows us to both remove frequency information from the C code and consolidate existing code.
