2022-04-11ARM: dts: Use clock-output-names for am4Tony Lindgren1-113/+226
With the TI clocks supporting the use of clock-output-names devicetree property, we no longer need to use non-standard node names for clocks. 2021-06-08ARM: dts: am43xx-clocks: add spread spectrum supportDario Binacchi1-6/+6
Registers for adjusting the spread spectrum clocking (SSC) have been added. As reported by the TI spruhl7x RM, SSC is supported only for LCD and MPU PLLs, but the PRCM_CM_SSC_DELTAMSTEP_DPLL_XXX and PRCM_CM_SSC_MODFREQDIV_DPLL_XXX registers, as well as the enable field in the PRCM_CM_CLKMODE_DPLL_XXX registers are mapped for all PLLs (CORE, MPU, DDR, PER, DISP, EXTDEV). 2020-01-23ARM: dts: am43xx: add support for clkout1 clockTero Kristo1-0/+54
clkout1 clock node and its generation tree was missing. Add this based on the data on TRM and PRCM functional spec. commit 664ae1ab2536 ("ARM: dts: am43xx: add clkctrl nodes") effectively reverted this commit 8010f13a40d3 ("ARM: dts: am43xx: add support for clkout1 clock") which is needed for the ov2659 camera sensor clock definition hence it is being re-applied here. Note that because of the current dts node name dependency for mapping to clock domain, we must still use "clkout1-*ck" naming instead of generic "clock@" naming for the node. And because of this, it's probably best to apply the dts node addition together along with the other clock changes. 2018-10-18ARM: dts: am43xx: convert to use new clkctrl layoutTero Kristo1-12/+62
Convert AM43xx to use the new clockdomain based layout. Previously the clkctrl split was based on CM isntance boundaries. The new layout helps with introducing the interconnect driver instances. Signed-off-by: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2017-12-11ARM: dts: am43xx: add clkctrl nodesTero Kristo1-160/+70
Add clkctrl nodes for AM43xx SoC. These are going to be acting as replacement for part of the existing clock data and the existing clkctrl hooks under hwmod data. This patch also removes any obsolete clock nodes, and reroutes all users for these to use the new clkctrl clocks instead. 2016-04-11ARM: dts: am43xx: fix clock node definitions to avoid build warningsTero Kristo1-58/+58
Upcoming change to DT compiler is going to complain about nodes which have a reg property, but have not defined the address in their name. This patch fixes following type of warnings for AM43xx clock nodes: Warning (unit_address_vs_reg): Node /ocp/cm@48004000/clocks/dpll3_m2_ck has a reg or ranges property, but no unit name Signed-off-by: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2015-12-09ARM: dts: am4372: fix clock source for arm twd and global timersGrygorii Strashko1-0/+8
ARM TWD and Global timer are clocked by PERIPHCLK which is MPU_CLK/2. But now they are clocked by dpll_mpu_m2_ck == MPU_CLK and, as result. Timekeeping core misbehaves. For example, execution of command "sleep 5" will take 10 sec instead of 5. Hence, fix it by adding mpu_periphclk ("fixed-factor-clock") and use it for clocking ARM TWD and Global timer (same way as on OMAP4). 2015-03-31ARM: dts: am4372: add minimal l4 bus layout with control module supportTero Kristo1-1/+1

System control module nodes are moved under this new interconnect also, and the SCM clock layout is changed to use the renamed SCM nodea as the clock provider. 2014-05-23ARM: dts: AM4372: clk: efuse based crystal frequency detectAfzal Mohammed1-0/+16
Currently oscillator frequency is determined based on sysboot settings, it may not be the case always. To determine it properly, efuse settings also has to be read.
