2014-03-066lowpan: move 6lowpan header to include/netAlexander Aring1-434/+0
This header is used by bluetooth and ieee802154 branch. This patch move this header to the include/net directory to avoid a use of a relative path in include. Signed-off-by: Alexander Aring <alex.aring@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-03-066lowpan: add missing include of net/ipv6.hAlexander Aring1-0/+2
The 6lowpan.h file contains some static inline function which use internal ipv6 api structs. Add a include of ipv6.h to be sure that it's known before. Signed-off-by: Alexander Aring <alex.aring@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-02-286lowpan: add uncompress header size functionAlexander Aring1-0/+113
This patch add a lookup function for uncompressed 6LoWPAN header size. This is needed to estimate the real size after uncompress the 6LoWPAN header. Signed-off-by: Alexander Aring <alex.aring@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-12-176lowpan: add udp warning for elided checksumAlexander Aring1-0/+1
Bit 5 of "UDP LOWPAN_NHC Format" indicate that the checksum can be elided. The host need to calculate the udp checksum afterwards but this isn't supported right now. See: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6282#section-4.3.3 Signed-off-by: Alexander Aring <alex.aring@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2013-12-176lowpan: introduce lowpan_push_hc_data functionAlexander Aring1-0/+7
This patch introduce the lowpan_push_hc_data function to set data in the iphc buffer. It's a common case to set data and increase the buffer pointer. This helper function can be used many times in header_compress function to generate the iphc header. 2013-12-126lowpan: fix/move/cleanup debug functionsAlexander Aring1-0/+32
There are several issues on current debug behaviour. This patch fix the following issues: - Fix debug printout only if DEBUG is defined. - Move debug functions of 6LoWPAN code into 6lowpan header. - Cleanup codestyle of debug functions. 2013-12-116lowpan: Moving generic compression code into 6lowpan_iphc.cJukka Rissanen1-0/+32
Because the IEEE 802154 and Bluetooth share the IP header compression and uncompression code, the common code is moved to 6lowpan_iphc.c file. 2013-08-206lowpan: lowpan_uncompress_addr with address_modeAlexander Aring1-3/+5
This patch drops the pre and postcount calculation from the lowpan_uncompress_addr function. We use instead a switch/case over address_mode value. The original implementation has several bugs in this function and it was hard to decrypt how it works. To make it maintainable and fix these bugs this patch basically reimplements lowpan_uncompress_addr from scratch. A list of bugs we found in the current implementation: 1) Properly support uncompression of short-address based IPv6 addresses (instead of basically copying garbage) 2) Fix use and uncompression of long-addresses based IPv6 addresses 3) Add missing ff:fe00 in the case of SAM/DAM = 2 and M = 0 Signed-off-by: Alexander Aring <alex.aring@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Werner Almesberger <werner@almesberger.net> Signed-off-by: David S. 2013-08-206lowpan: introduce lowpan_fetch_skb functionAlexander Aring1-0/+12
This patch adds a helper function to parse the ipv6 header to a 6lowpan header in stream. This function checks first if we can pull data with a specific length from a skb. If this seems to be okay, we copy skb data to a destination pointer and run skb_pull. 2013-03-266lowpan: lowpan_is_iid_16_bit_compressable() does not detect compressible ↵Tony Cheneau1-3/+4
address correctly The current test is not RFC6282 compliant. The same issue has been found and fixed in Contiki. This patch is basically a port of their fix. Signed-off-by: Tony Cheneau <tony.cheneau@amnesiak.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2012-04-266lowpan: duplicate definition of IEEE802154_ALENalex.bluesman.smirnov@gmail.com1-3/+0
The same macros is defined in 'include/net/af_ieee802154.h' and is called IEEE802154_ADDR_LEN. No need another one, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Alexander Smirnov <alex.bluesman.smirnov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2011-08-24IEEE802.15.4: 6LoWPAN basic supportAlexander Smirnov1-0/+212
This patch provides base support for transmission of IPv6 packets as well as the formation of IPv6 link-local addresses and statelessly autoconfigured addresses on top of IEEE 802.15.4 networks.
