2018-03-03watchdog: f71808e_wdt: Fix magic close handlingIgor Pylypiv1-1/+2
Watchdog close is "expected" when any byte is 'V' not just the last one. Writing "V" to the device fails because the last byte is the end of string. $ echo V > /dev/watchdog f71808e_wdt: Unexpected close, not stopping watchdog! 2017-12-28watchdog: f71808e_wdt: mark expected switch fall-throughsGustavo A. R. Silva1-2/+2
In preparation to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough, mark switch cases where we are expecting to fall through. Notice that in this particular case I replaced "Fall" with a proper "fall through" comment, which is what GCC is expecting to find. Signed-off-by: Gustavo A. R. 2017-06-05watchdog: f71808e_wdt: Add F71868 supportMaciej S. Szmigiero1-7/+20
This adds support for watchdog part of Fintek F71868 Super I/O chip to f71808e_wdt driver. The F71868 chip is, in general, very similar to a F71869, however it has slightly different set of available reset pulse widths. Tested on MSI A55M-P33 motherboard. Signed-off-by: Maciej S. 2012-07-23watchdog: f71808e_wdt: Add support for Jetway JNF99 motherboardJustin Wheeler1-1/+3
The Jetway JNF99 motherboard features a F71869 SuperIO chip, but its watchdog chipset ID appears to be 1007 (as opposed to 0814). Some testing confirmed it behaves the exact same as 0814. So add this chipset ID to the module's ID list so that the Fintek watchdog driver can correctly identify and access it. 2012-01-13module_param: make bool parameters really bool (drivers & misc)Rusty Russell1-1/+1
module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version. Acked-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au>
