The following build warning is seen after commit 8bdaa43808b7 ("regulator: dbx500: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions"): drivers/regulator/dbx500-prcmu.c:144:1: warning: label 'exit_no_debugfs' defined but not used [-Wunused-label] Remove the unused label and its associated error message. 2020-08-18regulator: dbx500: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functionsGreg Kroah-Hartman1-19/+5
When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this. 2020-06-25regulator: dbx500-prcmu: Remove unused function dbx500_regulator_testcase()Lee Jones1-8/+0
There isn't any code present within the current kernel to override this 'weak' function. Besides returning '0', which is never checked anyway, the whole function appears to be superfluous. Consequently fixes W=1 warning: drivers/regulator/dbx500-prcmu.c:113:27: warning: no previous prototype for ‘dbx500_regulator_testcase’ [-Wmissing-prototypes] 113 | int __attribute__((weak)) dbx500_regulator_testcase( | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200625163614.4001403-5-lee.jones@linaro.org Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

2016-09-26regulator: dbx500: remove unused functions in dbx500-prcmu.cBaoyou Xie1-18/+0
We get 2 warnings when building kernel with W=1: drivers/regulator/dbx500-prcmu.c:78:6: warning: no previous prototype for 'ux500_regulator_suspend_debug' [-Wmissing-prototypes] drivers/regulator/dbx500-prcmu.c:87:6: warning: no previous prototype for 'ux500_regulator_resume_debug' [-Wmissing-prototypes] In fact, these functions are unused in dbx500-prcmu.c, but should be removed. So this patch removes the unused functions. Signed-off-by: Baoyou Xie <baoyou.xie@linaro.org> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-02-24regulator: dbx500: Remove use of seq_puts/seq_printf return valueJoe Perches1-23/+9
The seq_puts/seq_printf return value, because it's frequently misused, will eventually be converted to void. See: commit 1f33c41c03da ("seq_file: Rename seq_overflow() to seq_has_overflowed() and make public") Miscellanea: o Remove unnecessary dev_err("seq_<foo> overflow\n") messages Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2014-03-19regulator: dbx500: use seq_puts() instead of seq_printf()Jingoo Han1-2/+2
For a constant format without additional arguments, use seq_puts() instead of seq_printf(). Also, it fixes the following checkpatch warning. WARNING: Prefer seq_puts to seq_printf Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>

2012-01-20regulators/db8500: split off shared dbx500 codeBengt Jonsson1-0/+241
As we progress with DB5500 and future voltage domain regulators based on very similar hardware as found in the DB8500 PRCMU, it makes sense to split off the generic parts and introduce some generic debug code for the DBx500 regulators. This patch accoplish a basic abstraction of the DBx500 voltage domain regulators.
