2014-05-16lib/crc7: Shift crc7() output left 1 bitGeorge Spelvin1-1/+0
This eliminates a 1-bit left shift in every single caller, and makes the inner loop of the CRC computation more efficient. Renamed crc7 to crc7_be (big-endian) since the interface changed. Also purged #include <linux/crc7.h> from files that don't use it at all. 2014-01-09wl1251: split RX and TX data path initialisationDavid Gnedt1-14/+32
Split up data path initialisation into RX and TX data path initialisation functions. This change is required for channel switching in monitor mode. 2014-01-09wl1251: fix scan behaviour while not associatedDavid Gnedt1-1/+11
With a dissasociated card I often encoutered very long scan delays. My guess is that it has something to do with the cards DTIM handling and another firmware bug mentioned in the TI WLAN driver, which is described as the card may never end scanning if the channel is overloaded because it can't send probe requests. I think the firmware somehow also tries to receive DTIM messages when the BSSID is not set. Therefore most of the time it waits for DTIM messages and can't do scanning work. Anyway we can workaround this misbehaviour by setting the HIGH_PRIORITY bit for scans in disassociated state. 2012-06-20wl1251: fix filtering supportGrazvydas Ignotas1-9/+0
This driver has a hack in cmd.c which effectively disables all filtering. This seems to be triggering a firmware bug where it stops reporting any rx packets after random time on some routers, which is eliminated (or at least appears much more rarely) when filtering is on. I have found that only BSSID filter needs to be disabled for association to work, so disable only that instead of all filtering. 2012-04-12wireless/wl12xx/wl1251: move TI WLAN modules to a common ti subdirectoryLuciano Coelho1-0/+496
Move wl12xx and wl1251 modules into a new drivers/net/wireless/ti directory. Add a TI WLAN Kconfig option and Makefile to support this change. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com> Cc: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
