2015-11-18iwlwifi: move under intel vendor directoryKalle Valo1-12/+0
Part of reorganising wireless drivers directory and Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2015-08-04iwlwifi: mvm: add basic Time of Flight (802.11mc FTM) supportGregory Greenman1-0/+1
ToF is a time based method for measurement of the WiFi device location within a WiFi environment. The driver functionality provided by this patch is the interface for communication with FW and receiving location related updates from the FW. The interface provided by this patch is via debugfs. 2014-09-14iwlwifi: mvm: move TDLS code to separate fileArik Nemtsov1-1/+1
The upcoming TDLS channel-switch functionality is big enough to warrant a separate file. Move existing related functions to the new file. 2014-07-07iwlwifi: mvm: BT Coex - prepare towards new APIEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
A new API is coming. This new API is not backward compatible. So we need to keep the old commands to be able to work with the former API. Move all the current code into a new file: coex_legacy. If a firmware with the new API is detected, we currently just bail out since the implementation of the new API will come in future patches. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-05-06iwlwifi: make LED support optionalJohannes Berg1-1/+2
If there's no LED on the system, it doesn't make a lot of sense to include close to 4k of LED-related code (mostly in mac80211), so instead of forcing LED support into the kernel, don't build iwlwifi/mac80211 LED support if there's no LED class support. 2014-03-16iwlwifi: mvm: configure seq_num to D0i3Eliad Peller1-1/+1
Configure the QoS counters when entering D0i3. The fw might use them later when performing protocol offloading (we'll update the the counters back on d0i3 exit in a following patch). Non-QoS counter is handled internally in the fw, so no need to configure it. Also, add support for a new version of WOWLAN_CONFIG_CMD Signed-off-by: Eliad Peller <eliad@wizery.com> Reviewed-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-03-11iwlwifi: mvm: make bt-coex.c genericEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
Make bt-coex generic to allow other coex mechanisms. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-02-03iwlwifi: mvm: remove support for legacy power APIEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
If the driver detects old firmware, we disable support for power management. This greatly simplifies the code. Reviewed-by: Alexander Bondar <alexander.bondar@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2013-12-17iwlwifi: mvm: fixup MakefileEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+0
debufs.o appeared twice in the Makefile. Fix that. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2013-12-17iwlwifi: mvm: Add Smart FIFO supportLilach Edelstein1-1/+1
Send firmware a Smart FIFO Configuration host command to allow interrupt coalescing. The smart FIFO is enabled when there is only one bound interface (other than p2p devices which are ignored) and it is of type station, and activated while the station is associated. Smart Fifo allows aggragations of DMA transactions and by that causes processor and memory controller to stay for a longer time on lower c-states, thus saving platform power. Firmware relies on driver to activate and disable it. Signed-off-by: Lilach Edelstein <lilach.edelstein@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2013-12-09iwlwifi: mvm: move interface-specific debugfs to a new fileJohannes Berg1-0/+1
The debugfs file is getting pretty large and mixed up between code for the hardware and code for each interface (the two aren't even clearly separated in the code). Make it easier to handle by splitting the per-interface code into a separate file called debugfs-vif.c. 2013-07-16iwlwifi: mvm: Upgrade to a new power management uAPSD APIAlexander Bondar1-1/+1
Change power management implementation to support new host-device API containing uAPSD parameters. Verify FW support for this new API. Use the new power table command (0xA9) to configure power management. Use the legacy command (0x77) if FW does not support the new API. New file power_legacy.c is introduced for legacy implementation. 2013-05-29iwlwifi: mvm: add thermal throttling and CT killEytan Lifshitz1-1/+1
In order to avoid NIC destruction due to high temperature, CT kill will power down the NIC. To avoid this, thermal throttling will decrease throughput to prevent the NIC from reaching the temperature at which CT kill is performed. 2013-03-06iwlwifi: mvm: begin basic BT-Coex implementationEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
Send the PRIO table before the calibrations. This table tells the fw what priority to give to what (WiFi / BT) according to events. Send a hardcoded BT_COEX command to the fw to enable basic BT coexistence. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2013-02-01iwlwifi: add the MVM driverJohannes Berg1-0/+10
Newer firmware revisions have a completely new firmware API. This is the new driver for this new API. I've listed the people who directly contributed code, but many others from various teams have contributed in other ways.
