2015-11-18iwlwifi: move under intel vendor directoryKalle Valo1-395/+0
Part of reorganising wireless drivers directory and Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2014-09-08iwlwifi: dvm: disable power save by defaultEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
In https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84031, the submitter said that disabling power saving helped, do just that. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-06-24iwlwifi: dvm: add a force_cam module parameter to fully disable power savingAndy Lutomirski1-0/+9
iwldvm stalls are often blamed on power management. Add an option to force it all the way off. Signed-off-by: Andy Lutomirski <luto@amacapital.net> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-05-13iwlwifi: remove CMD_SYNCEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
CMD_SYNC is really 0 which is confusing: if (cmd.flags & CMD_SYNC) is always false. Fix this by simply removing its definition. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-05-11iwlwifi: add missing trailing newlines to debug messagesJohannes Berg1-1/+1
All messages should have a trailing newline, add all the missing ones. Also make all messages constants, replacing the single one that pointlessly used a variable. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-01-03wireless: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker1-1/+0
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. 2013-12-31iwlwifi: Update Copyright to 2014Emmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
Happy new year! Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2013-05-27iwlwifi: move some configuration parameters into DVMJohannes Berg1-3/+3
There are a number of parameters that aren't really hardware specific but rather define how the DVM firmware is used. Move these into the DVM configuration. Reviewed-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2013-01-24iwlwifi: update copyrightJohannes Berg1-1/+1
Update Copyright notices to 2013. Reviewed-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2012-06-06iwlwifi: refactor EEPROM reading/parsingJohannes Berg1-1/+0
The EEPROM reading/parsing code is all mixed in the driver today, and the EEPROM is parsed only when we access data from it. This is problematic because the NVM needs to be parsed and that is independent of reading it. Also, the NVM format for new devices will be different and probably require a new parser. Therefore refactor the reading and parsing and create two independent components. Reading the EEPROM requires direct hardware accesses and therefore access to the transport, but parsing is independent and can be done on an NVM blob. 2012-06-06iwlwifi: move DVM code into subdirectoryJohannes Berg1-0/+388
Since we're working on another mode/driver inside iwlwifi, move the current one into a subdirectory to more cleanly separate the code. While at it, rename all the files. Reviewed-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
