2019-09-06iwlwifi: remove the d0i3 related module parametersEmmanuel Grumbach1-7/+2
Those are now effectless. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2019-01-29iwlwifi: move iwl_enable_{rx,tx}_ampdu to iwl-modparams.hJohannes Berg1-0/+18
These inlines just check the module parameters, so they don't need a configuration parameter and can move to a better place. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2018-11-23iwlwifi: trans: parse and store debug ini TLVsSara Sharon1-0/+2
The new debug ini TLVs can be either packed into firmware binary or written in external file. Support loading them from both. Store the data per apply point. Apply point is a point during driver runtime, where the TLV becomes active. For example, a trigger of hardware error may be configured to collect a subset of data pre-alive, as a opposed to HW error that occurs after alive. 2018-08-31iwlwifi: remove all occurrences of the FSF address paragraphLuca Coelho1-3/+0
The Free Software Foundation address is superfluous and causes checkpatch to issue a warning when present. Remove all paragraphs with FSF's address to prevent that. Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2018-07-26iwlwifi: pcie: support 2k rx buffersGolan Ben Ami1-3/+5
The smallest rb size supported today is 4k rx buffers. 22560 devices use 2k rxb's, so allow using 2k buffers. Signed-off-by: Golan Ben Ami <golan.ben.ami@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2018-07-26iwlwifi: add module parameter to disable 802.11axLuca Coelho1-0/+4
Add a module parameter to disable 802.11ax features in supported devices. This is useful for testing or if there are interoperability issues with some APs. Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2018-04-26iwlwifi: pcie: remove non-responsive deviceLuca Coelho1-0/+2
If we fail to to grab NIC access because the device is not responding (i.e. CSR_GP_CNTRL returns 0xFFFFFFFF), remove the device from the PCI bus, to avoid any further damage, and to let the user space rescan. In order to inform the userspace that a rescan is needed, we send a kobject uevent with "INACCESSIBLE". This functionality is disabled by default, but can be enabled via a new module parameter called "remove_when_gone". In the future we may change this module parameter to include 3 modes instead: do nothing; auto-rescan or; send uevent. 2017-06-29iwlwifi: unify external & internal modparam namesJohannes Berg1-8/+8
Where possible (all except for "11n_disable", which isn't valid in C) rename the internal names for module parameters to be the same as the externally visible names, to aid finding their use etc. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2017-06-02iwlwifi: kernel-doc: make proper linksJohannes Berg1-1/+1
Using %enum instead of &enum (and in one case, %struct) results in the wrong parsing. Fix that so that if documentation is generated, the result is clickable links. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2016-07-06iwlwifi: decouple PCIe transport from mac80211Johannes Berg1-1/+0
The PCIe transport needs to store two pointers in each TX SKB, and currently assumes mac80211's ieee80211_tx_info is present in the CB to do that. In order to remove that assumption, have the opmodes pass in the offset to where the pointers can be stored in the CB and use the offset in the PCIe code. To make the disentanglement complete, remove mac80211.h includes from everywhere in the generic iwlwifi code. This required adding an include of cfg80211.h in one place. 2016-07-01iwlwifi: advertise maximal MPDU length when Rx MQ is supportedEmmanuel Grumbach1-4/+5
The new hardware that supports multiple queue also de-aggregates A-MSDUs. This means that we can advertise the maximal size of A-MSDUs regardless of the receive buffer's size. In order to be able to forcefully use a lower A-MSDU size, add a default value for the module parameter. Pre-9000 will have a default of 4K, and 9000 will have 12K. Setting the amsdu_size module parameter to 4K will limit the A-MSDU on 9000 as well. 2016-03-30iwlwifi: make uapsd_disable module param a bitmapEmmanuel Grumbach1-2/+8
This allows to disable uapsd for BSS only, or P2P client separately. Remove the now unneeded IWL_MVM_P2P_UAPSD_STANDALONE constant. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2016-03-02iwlwifi: add disable_11ac module paramAndrei Otcheretianski1-0/+2
Add module parameter that disables VHT capabilities. Signed-off-by: Andrei Otcheretianski <andrei.otcheretianski@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2016-02-01iwlwifi: Document missing module optionsRodrigo Freire1-0/+2

2015-12-20iwlwifi: change the Intel Wireless email addressEmmanuel Grumbach1-1/+1
ilw@linux.intel.com is not available anymore. linuxwifi@intel.com should be used instead. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2015-11-26iwlwifi: generalize d0i3_entry_timeout module parameterLuca Coelho1-0/+3
The PCIe transport will also need a d0i3_entry_timeout_ms parameter, so move the existing one from the slave transports to iwlwifi, so it can be reused. While at it, rename the parameter to something shorter, namely d0i3_entry_delay. Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2015-11-26iwlwifi: add support for 12K Receive BuffersEmmanuel Grumbach1-2/+8
802.11ac allows A-MSDU that can be up to 12KB long. Since an entire A-MSDU needs to fit into one single Receive Buffer (RB), add support for big RBs. Since this adds lots of pressure to the memory manager and significantly increase the true_size of the RX buffers, don't enable this by default. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
