2015-11-18brcm80211: move under broadcom vendor directoryKalle Valo1-420/+0
Part of reorganising wireless drivers directory and Kconfig. Note that I had to edit Makefiles from subdirectories to use the new location. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2015-01-29brcmfmac: SDIO: avoid using bus state for private states.Hante Meuleman1-1/+1
Each bus driver is maintaing an exported bus state indicating if upper layers can or cannot send data. SDIO is using this state also for more private states. This makes handling the states and state changes complex. This patch minimises the exposed states and makes SDIO keep track of an internal state where necessary. 2014-10-30brcmfmac: do not use firmware error code in driverArend van Spriel1-5/+4
Passing the firmware error codes up the driver may be mapped to linux error numbers which may impact proper fault analysis. So better pass up a generic failure code, ie. -EBADE and only show firmware error code in FIL debug message. 2014-06-25brcmfmac: reduce log level in fwil if firmware returns errorArend van Spriel1-1/+1
The users of the fwil put an error message in the log so there is no need to do the same in the lower level functions in fwil when the firmware on the device returns an error. Some errors can be ignored for the driver to function and this will avoid driver users to point at the low-level error message as potential bug. 2013-12-02brcmfmac: Dynamically register a protocol layer.Hante Meuleman1-4/+3
BCDC is the default protocol layer and being called directly. This patch installs the functions for this layer dynamically. This allows new protocols to be added and selected dynamically depending on the hw capabilties. As currently only BCDC is supported this is always the installed protocol. 2013-02-08brcmfmac: use brcmf_if::bssidx as index in interface listHante Meuleman1-2/+3
Upon receiving an IF event from the firmware the interface was created and stored on a list using the interface index. With upcoming P2P feature the firmware will send a IF event in which two interfaces have the same interface index. To uniquely locate them on the list the bss index is now used.
