2018-01-02qed*: Utilize FW 8.33.1.0Tomer Tayar1-0/+1
Advance the qed* drivers to use firmware 8.33.1.0: Modify core driver (qed) to utilize the new FW and initialize the device with it. This is the lion's share of the patch, and includes changes to FW interface files, device initialization flows, FW interaction flows, and debug collection flows. Modify Ethernet driver (qede) to make use of new FW in fastpath. Modify RoCE/iWARP driver (qedr) to make use of new FW in fastpath. Modify FCoE driver (qedf) to make use of new FW in fastpath. Modify iSCSI driver (qedi) to make use of new FW in fastpath. 2017-10-19qed: Fix iWARP out of order flowMichal Kalderon1-0/+3
Out of order flow is not working for iWARP. This patch got cut out from initial series that added out of order support for iWARP. Make out of order code common for iWARP and iSCSI. Add new configuration option CONFIG_QED_OOO. Set by qedr and qedi Kconfigs. 2016-10-14qedr: Add RoCE driver frameworkRam Amrani1-11/+0

2016-10-14qed*: Fix Kconfig dependencies with INFINIBAND_QEDRYuval Mintz1-0/+4
The qedr driver would require a tristate Kconfig option [to allow it to compile as a module], and toward that end we've added the INFINIBAND_QEDR option. But as we've made the compilation of the qed/qede infrastructure required for RoCE dependent on the option we'd be facing linking difficulties in case that QED=y or QEDE=y, and INFINIBAND_QEDR=m. To resolve this, we seperate between the INFINIBAND_QEDR option and the infrastructure support in qed/qede by introducing a new QED_RDMA option which would be selected by INFINIBAND_QEDR but would be a boolean instead of a tristate; Following that, the qed/qede is fixed based on this new option so that all config combinations would be supported. 2016-06-17qlcnic: Replace ndo_add/del_vxlan_port with ndo_add/del_udp_enc_portAlexander Duyck1-10/+0
This change replaces the network device operations for adding or removing a VXLAN port with operations that are more generically defined to be used for any UDP offload port but provide a type. As such by just adding a line to verify that the offload type is VXLAN we can maintain the same functionality. Signed-off-by: Alexander Duyck <aduyck@mirantis.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2016-06-17qede: Move all UDP port notifiers to single functionAlexander Duyck1-20/+0
This patch goes through and combines the notifiers for VXLAN and GENEVE into a single function for each action. So there is now one combined function for getting ports, one for adding the ports, and one for deleting the ports. Signed-off-by: Alexander Duyck <aduyck@mirantis.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2016-05-12qed: Add CONFIG_QED_SRIOVYuval Mintz1-0/+10
Add support for a new Kconfig option for qed* driver which would allow [eventually] the support in VFs. 2015-11-10qed: select ZLIB_INFLATEArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
The newly added qlogic qed driver uses the zlib library, but misses the dependency: drivers/built-in.o: In function `qed_alloc_stream_mem': drivers/net/ethernet/qlogic/qed/qed_main.c:707: undefined reference to `zlib_inflate_workspacesize' drivers/built-in.o: In function `qed_unzip_data': drivers/net/ethernet/qlogic/qed/qed_main.c:675: undefined reference to `zlib_inflateInit2' This changes Kconfig to always select zlib when needed. 2015-10-27qede: Add basic Network driverYuval Mintz1-0/+5
The Qlogic Everest Driver for Ethernet is the Ethernet specific module for QL4xxx ethernet products by Qlogic. This patch adds a very minimal PCI driver, one that doesn't yet register a network device, but one that does interact with qed and does a basic initialization of the HW. 2015-10-27qed: Add module with basic common supportYuval Mintz1-0/+6
The Qlogic Everest Driver is the backend module for the QL4xxx ethernet products by Qlogic. This module serves two main purposes: 1. It's responsible to contain all the common code that will be shared between the various drivers that would be used with said line of products. Flows such as chip initialization and de-initialization fall under this category. 2. It would abstract the protocol-specific HW & FW components, allowing the protocol drivers to have a clean APIs which is detached in its slowpath configuration from the actual HSI. This adds a very basic module without any protocol-specific bits. I.e., this adds a basic implementation that almost entirely falls under the first category. 2015-06-23drivers/net: remove all references to obsolete Ethernet-HOWTOPaul Gortmaker1-3/+1
This howto made sense in the 1990s when users had to manually configure ISA cards with jumpers or vendor utilities, but with the implementation of PCI it became increasingly less and less relevant, to the point where it has been well over a decade since I last updated it. And there is no value in anyone else taking over updating it either. However the references to it continue to spread as boiler plate text from one Kconfig file into the next. We are not doing end users any favours by pointing them at this old document, so lets kill it with fire, once and for all, to hopefully stop any further spread. No code is changed in this commit, just Kconfig help text. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-05-07qlcnic: Fix Kconfig dependency on HWMONHarish Patil1-1/+1
Commit 1f0f467b670e "qlcnic: Add hwmon interface to export board temperature" introduced a randconfig build error in the case when the hwmon framework is built as a module and the qlcnic driver itself is built-in: drivers/built-in.o: In function `qlcnic_register_hwmon_dev': drivers/net/ethernet/qlogic/qlcnic/qlcnic_sysfs.c:1301: undefined reference to `hwmon_device_register_with_groups' drivers/built-in.o: In function `qlcnic_unregister_hwmon_dev': drivers/net/ethernet/qlogic/qlcnic/qlcnic_sysfs.c:1309: undefined reference to `hwmon_device_unregister'. This changes the Kconfig logic to enforce that the qlcnic hwmon support can only be enabled if it is possible to successfully build it. Commit 2b3d7b758c687("qlcnic: Add VXLAN Rx offload support") uses vxlan_get_rx_port() which caused build failure when VXLAN=m. 2011-08-27drivers/net/ethernet/*: Enabled vendor Kconfig optionsJeff Kirsher1-0/+1
Based on finds for Stephen Rothwell, where current defconfig's enable a ethernet driver and it is not compiled due to the newly added NET_VENDOR_* component of Kconfig. This patch enables all the "new" Kconfig options so that current defconfig's will continue to compile the expected drivers. In addition, by enabling all the new Kconfig options does not add any un-expected options. CC: Stephen Rothwll <sfc@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
