2020-10-21net: ethernet: mtk-star-emac: select REGMAP_MMIOBartosz Golaszewski1-0/+1
The driver depends on mmio regmap API but doesn't select the appropriate Kconfig option. This fixes it. 2020-06-14treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'Masahiro Yamada1-2/+2
Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>
2020-05-22net: ethernet: mtk-star-emac: new driverBartosz Golaszewski1-0/+7
This adds the driver for the MediaTek STAR Ethernet MAC currently used on the MT8* SoC family. For now we only support full-duplex. Signed-off-by: Bartosz Golaszewski <bgolaszewski@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2020-05-22net: ethernet: mediatek: rename Kconfig promptBartosz Golaszewski1-1/+1
We'll soon by adding a second MediaTek Ethernet driver so modify the Kconfig prompt. Signed-off-by: Bartosz Golaszewski <bgolaszewski@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2019-08-27net: ethernet: mediatek: Add basic PHYLINK supportRené van Dorst1-1/+1
This convert the basics to PHYLINK API. SGMII support is not in this patch. Signed-off-by: René van Dorst <opensource@vdorst.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2019-08-18net: ethernet: mediatek: Add MT7628/88 SoC supportStefan Roese1-1/+1
This patch adds support for the MediaTek MT7628/88 SoCs to the common MediaTek ethernet driver. Some minor changes are needed for this and a bigger change, as the MT7628 does not support QDMA (only PDMA). 2019-07-31net: mediatek: Drop unneeded dependency on NET_VENDOR_MEDIATEKGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+0
The whole block is protected by "if NET_VENDOR_MEDIATEK", so there is no need for individual driver config symbols to duplicate this dependency. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner1-0/+1
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2019-01-30net: ethernet: mediatek: support MT7621 SoC ethernet hardwareBjørn Mork1-1/+1
The Mediatek MT7621 SoC contains the same ethernet hardware module as used on a number of other MediaTek SoC parts. There are some minor differences to deal with but we can use the same driver to support them all. This patch is based on work by Bjørn Mork <bjorn@mork.no>, and his original patch is at: https://github.com/bmork/LEDE/commit/3293bc63f5461ca1eb0bbc4ed90145335e7e3404 There is an additional compatible devicetree type added, and the primary change to the code required is to support a single interrupt (for both RX and TX interrupts). 2017-08-01net-next: mediatek: add platform data to adapt into various hardwareSean Wang1-3/+3
This patch is the preparation patch in order to adapt into various hardware through adding platform data which holds specific characteristics among MediaTek SoCs and introducing the unified clock handler for those distinct clock requirements depending on different features such as TRGMII and SGMII getting support on the target SoC. And finally, add enhancement with given the generic description for Kconfig and remove the unnecessary machine type dependency in Makefile.
