2011-07-20mmc: sdhci: eliminate sdhci_of_host and sdhci_of_dataShawn Guo1-253/+0
The patch migrates the use of sdhci_of_host and sdhci_of_data to sdhci_pltfm_host and sdhci_pltfm_data, so that the former pair can be eliminated. 2011-05-18drivercore: revert addition of of_match to struct deviceGrant Likely1-2/+5
Commit b826291c, "drivercore/dt: add a match table pointer to struct device" added an of_match pointer to struct device to cache the of_match_table entry discovered at driver match time. This was unsafe because matching is not an atomic operation with probing a driver. If two or more drivers are attempted to be matched to a driver at the same time, then the cached matching entry pointer could get overwritten. This patch reverts the of_match cache pointer and reworks all users to call of_match_device() directly instead. Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-02-28dt: Eliminate of_platform_{,un}register_driverGrant Likely1-6/+9
Final step to eliminate of_platform_bus_type. They're all just platform drivers now. v2: fix type in pasemi_nand.c (thanks to Stephen Rothwell) Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-01-14mmc: sdhci-of: fix build on non-powerpc platformsRob Herring1-0/+9
Explicitly include err.h, of_address.h and of_irq.h. Make use of machine_is() conditional on PPC. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-01-03of: Fixes for OF probing on little endian systemsRob Herring1-2/+2
Fixes for sdhci-of and ipmi drivers. Auditing all drivers using of_get_property did not find other occurrences likely to be used on LE platforms. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>

2010-08-11sdhci: add auto CMD12 support for eSDHC driverJerry Huang1-0/+4
Add auto CMD12 command support for eSDHC driver. This is needed by P4080 and P1022 for block read/write. Manual asynchronous CMD12 abort operation causes protocol violations on these silicons. 2010-08-06of/device: Replace struct of_device with struct platform_deviceGrant Likely1-4/+4
of_device is just an alias for platform_device, so remove it entirely. Also replace to_of_device() with to_platform_device() and update comment blocks. This patch was initially generated from the following semantic patch, and then edited by hand to pick up the bits that coccinelle didn't catch. @@ @@ -struct of_device +struct platform_device Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Reviewed-by: David S. 2010-05-27mmc: remove the "state" argument to mmc_suspend_host()Matt Fleming1-1/+1
Even though many mmc host drivers pass a pm_message_t argument to mmc_suspend_host() that argument isn't used the by MMC core. As host drivers are converted to dev_pm_ops they'll have to construct pm_message_t's (as they won't be passed by the PM subsystem any more) just to appease the mmc suspend interface. We might as well just delete the unused paramter. 2010-05-22of: Remove duplicate fields from of_platform_driverGrant Likely1-2/+5
.name, .match_table and .owner are duplicated in both of_platform_driver and device_driver. This patch is a removes the extra copies from struct of_platform_driver and converts all users to the device_driver members. This patch is a pretty mechanical change. The usage model doesn't change and if any drivers have been missed, or if anything has been fixed up incorrectly, then it will fail with a compile time error, and the fixup will be trivial. This patch looks big and scary because it touches so many files, but it should be pretty safe. 2009-12-17sdhci-of: reorganize driver to support additional hardwareAlbert Herranz1-124/+16

2009-12-17sdhci-of: rename main driver file prior to reorganizationAlbert Herranz1-0/+336
