2018-04-17media: exymos4-is: allow compile test for EXYNOS FIMC-LITEMauro Carvalho Chehab1-3/+1
There's nothing that prevents building this driver with COMPILE_TEST. So, enable it. While here, make the Kconfig dependency cleaner by removing the unneeded if block. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@s-opensource.com>
2017-12-18media: exynos4-is: Remove dependency on obsolete SoC supportMarek Szyprowski1-1/+1
Support for Exynos4212 SoCs has been removed by commit bca9085e0ae9 ("ARM: dts: exynos: remove Exynos4212 support (dead code)"), so there is no need to keep remaining dead code related to this SoC version. 2017-09-23media: fix media Kconfig help syntax issuesHans Verkuil1-1/+1
The help text should be indented by at least two spaces after the 'help' separator. This is both good practice and the media_build system for building media drivers makes this assumption. I went through all Kconfigs under drivers/media and fixed any bad help sections. This makes it conform to the common practice and should fix problems with 'make menuconfig' when using media_build. This is due to a "WARNING" message that media_build can insert in the Kconfig and that assumes the help text is indented by at least two spaces. If not, then the Kconfig becomes invalid and 'make menuconfig' fails. Switch users of the v4l2_of_ APIs to the more generic v4l2_fwnode_ APIs. Async OF matching is replaced by fwnode matching and OF matching support is removed. 2016-01-25[media] exynos4-is: make VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS4_IS tristateArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
With CONFIG_V4L2=m and VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS4_IS=y, we can select the individual drivers as built-in code when that should not be possible: drivers/built-in.o: In function `s5pcsis_set_fmt': policy.c:(.text+0x13afdc): undefined reference to `v4l_bound_align_image' drivers/built-in.o: In function `s5pcsis_probe': policy.c:(.text+0x13b440): undefined reference to `v4l2_of_parse_endpoint' policy.c:(.text+0x13b72c): undefined reference to `v4l2_subdev_init' Changing VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS4_IS to tristate means that the dependency from CONFIG_V4L2 propates to the individual Kconfig symbols and they can only be built as loadable modules if V4L2 or any other of the dependencies itself is a module. 2015-05-13[media] exynos4_is: exynos4-fimc requires i2cArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
Without i2c, we can get a build error: drivers/media/platform/exynos4-is/fimc-is-i2c.c: In function 'fimc_is_i2c_probe': drivers/media/platform/exynos4-is/fimc-is-i2c.c:58:8: error: implicit declaration of function 'i2c_add_adapter' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] The dependency already exists for exynos-fimc-lite and s5p-fimc, but is missing for exynos4-fimc. 2014-10-24[media] Remove references to non-existent PLAT_S5P symbolSylwester Nawrocki1-1/+1
The PLAT_S5P Kconfig symbol was removed in commit d78c16ccde96 ("ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove remaining legacy code"). However, there are still some references to that symbol left, fix that by substituting them with ARCH_S5PV210. 2014-03-14[media] exynos4-is: Add the FIMC-IS ISP capture DMA driverSylwester Nawrocki1-0/+9
Add a video capture node for the FIMC-IS ISP IP block. The Exynos4x12 FIMC-IS ISP IP block has 2 DMA interfaces that allow to capture raw Bayer and YUV data to memory. 2013-04-04[media] exynos4-is: Add common FIMC-IS image sensor driverSylwester Nawrocki1-0/+12
This patch adds a common image sensor driver and Makefile/Kconfig to enable compilation of the whole IS driver. The sensor subdev driver currently only handles an image sensor's power supplies and reset signal. There is no I2C communication as it is handled by the ISP's firmware. 2013-04-04[media] exynos4-is: Remove dependency on SYSCON for non-dt platformsSylwester Nawrocki1-1/+1
Currently the whole driver depends on MFD_SYSCON, which in turn depends on OF. To allow to use the driver on non-dt platforms (S5PV210) the SYSREG support is made conditional (it is needed only for dt enabled platforms) and MFD_SYSCON is selected if OF is enabled, instead of depending on OF. 2013-03-31[media] s5p-fimc: Change the driver directory name to exynos4-isSylwester Nawrocki1-0/+49
The s5p-fimc directory now contains drivers for multiple IP blocks found in multiple Samsung application processors. This includes FIMC (CAMIF), MIPI CSIS and FIMC LITE. FIMC-IS (Imaging Subsystem) driver is going to be put into same directory. Hence we rename it to exynos4-is as s5p-fimc was only relevant for early version of this driver, when it only supported FIMC IP block. The imaging subsystem drivers for Exynos4 SoC series and S5PV210 will be included in drivers/media/platform/exynos4-is directory, with some modules shared with exynos5 series, while the rest of exynos5 specific modules will find their home in drivers/media/platform/exynos5-is.
