2017-01-23drm/exynos: Remove Kconfig deps for FIMD and DECON7Tobias Jakobi1-2/+0
While the Kconfig entries of FIMD and DECON7 both select FB_MODE_HELPERS, the code doesn't use any of the functionality. 2016-12-05drm/exynos: Use VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS_GSC=n as GSC Kconfig dependencyJavier Martinez Canillas1-1/+1
Commit aeefb36832e5 ("drm/exynos: gsc: add device tree support and remove usage of static mappings") made the DRM_EXYNOS_GSC Kconfig symbol to only be selectable if the exynos-gsc V4L2 driver isn't enabled, since both use the same HW IP block. But added the dependency as depends on !VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS_GSC which is not correct since Kconfig expressions are not boolean but tristate. So it will only evaluate to 'n' if VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS_GSC=y but will evaluate to 'm' if VIDEO_SAMSUNG_EXYNOS_GSC=m. This means that both the V4L2 and DRM drivers can be enabled if the former is enabled as a module, which isn't what we want since otherwise 2 drivers could attempt to use the hardware at the same time. 2016-04-30drm/exynos: Use VIDEO_SAMSUNG_S5P_G2D=n as G2D Kconfig dependencyJavier Martinez Canillas1-1/+1
Commit 254d4d111ee1 ("drm/exynos: Add dependency for G2D in Kconfig") made the DRM_EXYNOS_G2D symbol to only be selectable if the s5p-g2d V4L2 driver is not enabled, since both use the same HW IP block. 2016-04-05drm: bridge: analogix/dp: split exynos dp driver to bridge directoryYakir Yang1-1/+2
Split the dp core driver from exynos directory to bridge directory, and rename the core driver to analogix_dp_*, rename the platform code to exynos_dp. Beside the new analogix_dp driver would export six hooks. "analogix_dp_bind()" and "analogix_dp_unbind()" "analogix_dp_suspned()" and "analogix_dp_resume()" "analogix_dp_detect()" and "analogix_dp_get_modes()" The bind/unbind symbols is used for analogix platform driver to connect with analogix_dp core driver. And the detect/get_modes is used for analogix platform driver to init the connector. They reason why connector need register in helper driver is rockchip drm haven't implement the atomic API, but Exynos drm have implement it, so there would need two different connector helper functions, that's why we leave the connector register in helper driver. So add the proper dependency in Kconfig so that the above can't happen. I moved DRM_PTN3460 earlier in Kconfig, next to the I2C helper module section, so that the user has a chance to select it before moving to the Exynos-specific section. IMHO the proper way to solve the problem would be to turn ptn3460 into a clean I2C driver, similar to the other I2C helper chip drivers. 2013-04-29drm/exynos: add device tree support for fimc ipp driverSylwester Nawrocki1-1/+1
This patch adds OF initialization support for the FIMC driver. The binding documentation can be found at Documentation/devicetree/ bindings/media/samsung-fimc.txt. The syscon regmap interface is used to serialize access to the shared CAMBLK registers from within the V4L2 FIMC-IS and the DRM FIMC drivers. The DRM driver uses this interface for setting up the FIFO data link between FIMD and FIMC IP blocks, while the V4L2 one for setting up a data link between the camera ISP and FIMC for camera capture. The CAMBLK registers are not accessed any more through a statically mapped IO. Synchronized access to these registers is required for simultaneous operation of the camera ISP and the DRM IPP on Exynos4x12. The driver data and driver_ids static data structures are removed since Exynos4 is going to be a dt-only platform and there is currently no board file in mainline that defines platform data for the FIMC IPP, i.e. uses it. 2013-01-25drm/exynos: fimd and ipp are broken on multiplatformArnd Bergmann1-2/+2
While the exynos DRM support in principle can work on multiplatform, the FIMD and IPP sections of it both include the plat/map-base.h header file, which is not available on multiplatform. Rather than disabling the entire driver, we can just conditionally build these two parts. Without this patch, building allyesconfig results in: drivers/gpu/drm/exynos/exynos_drm_fimc.c:19:27: fatal error: plat/map-base.h: No such file or directory drivers/gpu/drm/exynos/exynos_drm_ipp.c:20:27: fatal error: plat/map-base.h: No such file or directory Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Inki Dae <inki.dae@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kyungmin Park <kyungmin.park@samsung.com>
