2018-08-29drivers: gpio: Update MODULE AUTHOR email addressMichael Hennerich1-1/+1
no functional changes Signed-off-by: Michael Hennerich <michael.hennerich@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-01-13gpio: adp5520: Include proper headerLinus Walleij1-2/+1
This driver has no business including <linux/gpio.h>, it is a driver so include <linux/gpio/driver.h>. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2016-02-23gpio: adp5520: Use devm_gpiochip_add_data() for gpio registrationLaxman Dewangan1-12/+1
Use devm_gpiochip_add_data() for GPIO registration and remove the call for gpiochip_remove() from error path. Also remove the need of driver callback .remove. Signed-off-by: Laxman Dewangan <ldewangan@nvidia.com> Cc: Michael Hennerich <michael.hennerich@analog.com> Acked-by: Michael Hennerich <michael.hennerich@analog.com>
2016-01-05gpio: adp5520: use gpiochip data pointerLinus Walleij1-5/+5
This makes the driver use the data pointer added to the gpio_chip to store a pointer to the state container instead of relying on container_of(). Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-10-20gpio: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang1-1/+0
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-07-22gpio: remove all usage of gpio_remove retval in driver/gpioabdoulaye berthe1-7/+1
Signed-off-by: abdoulaye berthe <berthe.ab@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2014-05-09gpio: adp5520: remove unnecessary OOM messagesJingoo Han1-3/+1
The site-specific OOM messages are unnecessary, because they duplicate the MM subsystem generic OOM message. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Reviewed-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-12-04gpio/pinctrl: make gpio_chip members typed booleanLinus Walleij1-1/+1
This switches the two members of struct gpio_chip that were defined as unsigned foo:1 to bool, because that is indeed what they are. Switch all users in the gpio and pinctrl subsystems to assign these values with true/false instead of 0/1. The users outside these subsystems will survive since true/false is 1/0, atleast we set some kind of more strict typing example. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-08-16gpio: use dev_get_platdata()Jingoo Han1-1/+1
Use the wrapper function for retrieving the platform data instead of accessing dev->platform_data directly. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-03-27gpio: adp5520: use devm_kzalloc()Jingoo Han1-3/+1
Use devm_kzalloc() to make cleanup paths simpler. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2012-11-28gpio: remove use of __devexitBill Pemberton1-1/+1
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option so __devexit is no longer needed. 2012-01-02gpio: Convert GPIO drivers to module_platform_driverMark Brown1-11/+1
Where appropriate factor out some boilerplate code for platform device registration into module_platform_driver. Drivers that don't use the standard module_init initcall haven't been converted. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2011-06-06gpio: reorganize driversGrant Likely1-0/+211
Sort the gpio makefile and enforce the naming convention gpio-*.c for gpio drivers. v2: cleaned up filenames in Kconfig and comment blocks v3: fixup use of BASIC_MMIO to GENERIC_GPIO for mxc Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
