2016-04-15clk: twl6040: Remove CLK_IS_ROOTStephen Boyd1-1/+0
This flag is a no-op now. Remove usage of the flag. Cc: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>

2015-07-28clk: twl6040: Convert to use devm_clk_registerAxel Lin1-11/+1
Use devm_clk_register() to simplify the code by removing twl6040_clk_remove(). Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@ingics.com> Acked-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-07-20clk: twl6040: Remove clk.h includeStephen Boyd1-1/+0
Clock provider drivers generally shouldn't include clk.h because it's the consumer API. Remove the include here because this is a provider driver. Cc: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2014-09-25clk: Remove .owner field for driverKiran Padwal1-1/+0
There is no need to init .owner field. Based on the patch from Peter Griffin <peter.griffin@linaro.org> "mmc: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driver" This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver API, as this is overriden in platform_driver_register anyway." 2013-05-30clk: use platform_{get,set}_drvdata()Jingoo Han1-2/+2
Use the wrapper functions for getting and setting the driver data using platform_device instead of using dev_{get,set}_drvdata() with &pdev->dev, so we can directly pass a struct platform_device. 2013-01-03Drivers: misc: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman1-3/+3
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-11-15CLK: clk-twl6040: fix return value check in twl6040_clk_probe()Wei Yongjun1-2/+2
In case of error, the function clk_register() returns ERR_PTR() and never returns NULL. The NULL test in the return value check should be replaced with IS_ERR(). dpatch engine is used to auto generate this patch. 2012-10-29CLK: clk-twl6040: Initial clock driver for OMAP4+ McPDM fclk clockPeter Ujfalusi1-0/+126
On OMAP4+ platforms the functional clock for the McPDM IP is suplied by the twl6040 codec (bit clock on the PDM bus). This common clock driver for twl6040 will register the mcpdm_fclk clock to be used by the McPDM driver to make sure that the needed clocks are available when needed.
