ACPICA commit 51a49c2fb4a73f302a6df2b8ddc1350dd261684d
It is better to use unified ASL path name to interact with the developers.
There are following acpi_ns_build_normalized_pathname() users invoking it for

ACPICA commit 6e0229bb156d71675f2e07dc7960adb7ec0a60ea
This patch adds functions to return normalized full path instead of
"external path". The external path contains trailing "_" for each
name segment while the normalized full path doesn't contain the
trailing "_".
Currently this function is used by the method tracing users to specify a
none trailing "_" attached name path. Lv Zheng.
Note that we need to validate and switch all Linux kernel acpi_get_name()
users to use the new name type before removing the old name type from
ACPICA.

ACPICA commit d4a53a396fe5d384425251b0257f8d125bbed617
Especially for use of the Index operator. For buffers and strings,
only output the actual byte pointed to by the index. For packages,
only print the package element decoded by the index.

ACPICA commit b60612373a4ef63b64a57c124576d7ddb6d8efb6
For physical addresses, since the address may exceed 32-bit address range
after calculation, we should use 0x%8.8X%8.8X instead of ACPI_PRINTF_UINT
and ACPI_FORMAT_UINT64() instead of
ACPI_FORMAT_NATIVE_UINT()/ACPI_FORMAT_TO_UINT().
This patch also removes above replaced macros as there are no users.
This is a preparation to switch acpi_physical_address to 64-bit on 32-bit
kernel builds.

New version of "indent" program will generate different outputs that
will lead to the divergences between the Linux and the ACPICA.
This patch fixes such divergences caused by the "indent" program.
The version of the "indent" used for this patch is "GNU indent 2.2.11".
This patch will not affect the generated vmlinux binary.
This will decrease 581 lines of 20120913 divergence.diff.

This change adds support to allow multiple notify handlers on
Device, ThermalZone, and Processor objects. Also re-worked
and restructured the entire notify support code for handler
installation, handler removal, notify event queuing, and notify
dispatch to handler.

system notify handlers per device") by Rafael Wysocki.

History: This support changes a method to "serialized" on the fly if the
method generates an AE_ALREADY_EXISTS error, indicating the possibility
that it cannot handle reentrancy.
This fix repairs a couple of issues seen in the field, especially on
machines with many cores.
1) Delete method children only upon the exit of the last thread, so
as to not delete objects out from under running threads.
2) Set the "serialized" bit for the method only upon the exit of the
last thread, so as to not cause deadlock when running threads attempt
to exit.
3) Cleanup the use of the AML "MethodFlags" and internal method flags
so that there is no longer any confustion between the two.

This change enhances the performance of namespace searches and
walks by adding a backpointer to the parent in each namespace
node. On large namespaces, this change can improve overall ACPI
performance by up to 9X. Adding a pointer to each namespace node
increases the overall size of the internal namespace by about 5%,
since each namespace entry usually consists of both a namespace
node and an ACPI operand object.
