2015-04-13um: Move uml_postsetup in the init_thread stackThomas Meyer1-0/+1
atomic_notifier_chain_register() and uml_postsetup() do call kernel code that rely on the "current" kernel macro and a valid task_struct resp. thread_info struct. Give those functions a valid stack by moving uml_postsetup() in the init_thread stack. This moves enables a panic() call in this early code to generate a valid stacktrace, instead of crashing. E.g. when an UML kernel is started with an initrd but too few physical memory the panic() call get's actually processed. 2013-11-17um: Remove unused declarations from <as-layout.h>Geert Uytterhoeven1-3/+0
_end is used, but it's already provided by <asm/sections.h>, so use that. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Cc: Richard Weinberger <richard@nod.at> Cc: user-mode-linux-devel@lists.sourceforge.net Signed-off-by: Richard Weinberger <richard@nod.at>

2012-08-02um: pass siginfo to guest processMartin Pärtel1-1/+2
UML guest processes now get correct siginfo_t for SIGTRAP, SIGFPE, SIGILL and SIGBUS. Specifically, si_addr and si_code are now correct where previously they were si_addr = NULL and si_code = 128. 2008-10-22x86, um: take arch/um/include/* out of the wayAl Viro1-0/+68
We can't just plop asm/* into it - userland helpers are built with it in search path and seeing asm/* show up there suddenly would be a bad idea. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: H. Peter Anvin <hpa@zytor.com>
