2010-04-19powerpc/fsl-cpm: Configure clock correctly for SCCWolfgang Ocker1-3/+8
Some board setup functions call cpm1_clk_setup() or cmp2_clk_setup() to configure the clock source. If CPM_CLK_RTX has been used for the parameter mode, the clock has been configured only for TX but not for RX. With this patch CPM_CLK_RTX configures the clock for both directions correctly. 2009-05-19powerpc/cpm: Remove some cruft code and definesKumar Gala1-1/+1
Kill of some old defines and macros that we no longer use like CPM_MAP_ADDR and CPM_IRQ_OFFSET. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
2009-03-19powerpc/cpm2: fix building fs_enet driver as a module.Grant Likely1-0/+1
Building the fs_enet driver as a modules fails because it cannot access the global cpm2_immr symbol. Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
2009-01-28cpm2: Round the baud-rate clock divider to the nearest integer.Laurent Pinchart1-1/+2
Instead of rounding the divider down, improve the baud-rate generators accuracy by rounding to the nearest integer. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurentp@cse-semaphore.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
2008-07-28cpm2: Rework baud rate generators configuration to support external clocks.Laurent Pinchart1-30/+4
The CPM2 BRG setup functions cpm_setbrg and cpm2_fastbrg don't support external clocks. This patch adds a new exported __cpm2_setbrg function that takes the clock rate and clock source as extra parameters, and moves cpm_setbrg and cpm2_fastbrg to include/asm-powerpc/cpm2.h where they become inline wrappers around __cpm2_setbrg. 2008-07-28cpm2: Implement GPIO LIB API on CPM2 Freescale SoC.Laurent Pinchart1-0/+11
This patch implement GPIO LIB support for the CPM2 GPIOs. The code can also be used for CPM1 GPIO port E, as both cores are compatible at the register level. Based on earlier work by Laurent Pinchart. Signed-off-by: Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de> Cc: Laurent Pinchart <laurentp@cse-semaphore.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
2008-04-17[POWERPC] CPM: Always use new binding.Scott Wood1-97/+0
The kconfig entry can go away once arch/ppc and references to the config in drivers are removed. Signed-off-by: Scott Wood <scottwood@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
2008-04-17[POWERPC] CPM2: Reset the CPM when early debugging is not enabled.Laurent Pinchart1-0/+6
Similarly to what is done for PQ1-based platforms, this patch resets the PQ2 Communication Processor Module in cpm2_reset() when early debugging is not enabled. This helps avoiding conflicts when the boot loader configured the CPM in an unexpected way. 2008-04-03[POWERPC] Fix CPM2 SCC1 clock initialization.Laurent Pinchart1-0/+1
A missing break statement in a switch caused cpm2_clk_setup() to initialize SCC2 instead of SCC1. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurentp@cse-semaphore.com> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>

2008-01-28[POWERPC] CPM: Rename commproc to cpm1 and cpm2_common.c to cpm2.cJochen Friedrich1-0/+469
Rename commproc.[ch] to cpm1.[ch] to be more consistent with cpm2. Also rename cpm2_common.c to cpm2.c as suggested by Scott Wood. Adjust the includes accordingly. Signed-off-by: Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de> Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
