2015-01-25USB: host: Introduce flag to enable use of 64-bit dma_mask for ehci-platformAndreas Herrmann1-3/+1
ehci-octeon driver used a 64-bit dma_mask. With removal of ehci-octeon and usage of ehci-platform ehci dma_mask is now limited to 32 bits (coerced in ehci_platform_probe). Provide a flag in ehci platform data to allow use of 64 bits for dma_mask. This allows us to remove a big chunk of platform configuration code from octeon-platform.c." More or less I rebased that patch on Alan's work to remove ehci-octeon and ohci-octeon drivers. 2014-01-23MIPS: cavium-octeon: fix early boot hang on EBH5600 boardAaro Koskinen1-3/+3
The boot hangs early on EBH5600 board when octeon_fdt_pip_iface() is trying enumerate a non-existant interface. The actual hang happens in cvmx_helper_interface_get_mode(): mode.u64 = cvmx_read_csr(CVMX_GMXX_INF_MODE(interface)); when interface == 4. We can avoid this situation by first checking that the interface exists in the DTB. 2013-07-19MIPS: Octeon: Fix DT pruning bug with pip portsFaidon Liambotis1-2/+3
During the pruning of the device tree octeon_fdt_pip_iface() is called for each PIP interface and every port up to the port count is removed from the device tree. However, the count was set to the return value of cvmx_helper_interface_enumerate() which doesn't actually return the count but just returns zero on success. This effectively removed *all* ports from the tree. Use cvmx_helper_ports_on_interface() instead to fix this. This successfully restores the 3 ports of my ERLite-3 and fixes the "kernel assigns random MAC addresses" issue. The patch needs to eliminate the definition of OCTEON_IRQ_BOOTDMA so that the device tree code can map the interrupt, so in order to not temporarily break things, we do a single patch to both the interrupt registration code and the pata_octeon_cf driver. The device tree will supply the register bank base addresses, make register addressing relative to those. PHY connection is now described by the device tree. The OCTEON_IRQ_MII{0,1} symbols are also removed as they are now unused and interfere with the irq_domain used for device tree irq mapping. 2012-07-23i2c: Convert i2c-octeon.c to use device tree.David Daney1-84/+0
There are three parts to this: 1) Remove the definitions of OCTEON_IRQ_TWSI and OCTEON_IRQ_TWSI2. The interrupts are specified by the device tree and these hard coded irq numbers block the used of the irq lines by the irq_domain code. 2) Remove platform device setup code from octeon-platform.c, it is now unused. 3) Convert i2c-octeon.c to use device tree. Part of this includes using the devm_* functions instead of the raw counterparts, thus simplifying error handling. No functionality is changed.
