2017-08-10microblaze/PCI: Remove pcibios_setup_bus_{self/devices} dead codeLorenzo Pieralisi1-3/+0
01cf9d524ff0 ("microblaze/PCI: Support generic Xilinx AXI PCIe Host Bridge IP driver") removed pcibios calls to: pcibios_setup_bus_self() pcibios_setup_bus_devices() Given that pcibios_fixup_bus() was the only caller of those functions they have now become dead code (along with the functions they were calling in turn), so they can be removed. 2017-04-18PCI: Add arch_can_pci_mmap_io() on architectures which can mmap() I/O spaceDavid Woodhouse1-1/+2
This is relatively esoteric, and knowing that we don't have it makes life easier in some cases rather than just an eventual -EINVAL from pci_mmap_page_range(). Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2017-04-18PCI: Move multiple declarations of pci_mmap_page_range() to <linux/pci.h>David Woodhouse1-3/+0
We can declare it <linux/pci.h> even on platforms where it isn't going to be defined. There's no need to have it littered through the various <asm/pci.h> files. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2016-06-17PCI: Unify pci_resource_to_user() declarationsBjorn Helgaas1-3/+0
Replace the pci_resource_to_user() declarations in each arch that defines HAVE_ARCH_PCI_RESOURCE_TO_USER with a single one in linux/pci.h. Change the MIPS static inline implementation to a non-inline version so the static inline doesn't conflict with the new non-static linux/pci.h declaration. No functional change intended. Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2016-03-07PCI: Move pci_dma_* helpers to common codeChristoph Hellwig1-2/+0
For a long time all architectures implement the pci_dma_* functions using the generic DMA API, and they all use the same header to do so. Move this header, pci-dma-compat.h, to include/linux and include it from the generic pci.h instead of having each arch duplicate this include. 2015-06-08PCI: Remove unused pcibios_select_root() (again)Bjorn Helgaas1-13/+0
a6c140969b46 ("Delete pcibios_select_root") removed pcibios_select_root(). But a7db50405216 ("PCI: remove pcibios_scan_all_fns()") added a few copies back, probably with some incorrect merge conflict resolutions. Remove the still-unused pcibios_select_root() definitions. 2015-06-08microblaze/PCI: Remove unnecessary struct pci_dev declarationBjorn Helgaas1-2/+0
All users of arch/microblaze/include/asm/pci.h get it by including include/linux/pci.h, which in turn includes <asm/pci.h> after it declares struct pci_dev. The forward declaration here is unnecessary, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com> CC: Michal Simek <monstr@monstr.eu> Signed-off-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com>

2015-06-08microblaze/PCI: Remove unused declarationsBjorn Helgaas1-12/+0

2014-05-27PCI: Turn pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() into a weak functionHanjun Guo1-5/+0
pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() is only implemented by x86 now, and legacy ISA is not used by some architectures. Make pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() a __weak function to simplify the code. This removes the need for new platforms to add stub implementations of pcibios_penalize_isa_irq(). 2013-10-24microblaze/pci: Drop PowerPC-ism from irq parsingGrant Likely1-2/+0
The Microblaze PCI code copied the PowerPC irq handling, but powerpc needs to handle broken device trees that are not present on Microblaze. This patch removes the powerpc special case and replaces it with a direct of_irq_parse_and_map_pci() call. 2012-01-06PCI: MicroBlaze: convert pcibios_set_master() to a non-inlined functionMyron Stowe1-5/+0
This patch converts MicroBlaze's architecture-specific 'pcibios_set_master()' routine to a non-inlined function. This will allow follow on patches to create a generic 'pcibios_set_master()' function using the '__weak' attribute which can be used by all architectures as a default which, if necessary, can then be over- ridden by architecture-specific code. Converting 'pci_bios_set_master()' to a non-inlined function will allow MicroBlaze's 'pcibios_set_master()' implementation to remain architecture-specific after the generic version is introduced and thus, not change current behavior. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Myron Stowe <myron.stowe@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org>
2011-06-08microblaze/pci: Remove powermac originated cruftBenjamin Herrenschmidt1-2/+1
The whole business with re-assigning all bus numbers, creating an OF bus "map" etc... is ancient powermac stuff that you really don't care about on microblaze. Similarly pci_device_from_OF_node() is unused and by getting rid of it we can get rid of a whole lot of code otherwise unused on this architecture Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Acked-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Acked-by: Michal Simek <monstr@monstr.eu>
