Commit 126de6b20bfb82cc19012d5048f11f339ae5a021 ("linkage.h: fix build breakage due to symbol prefix handling") broke it even more, by removing SYMBOL_NAME() and replacing it by __SYMBOL_NAME(). Commit f8ce1faf55955de62e0a12e330c6d9a526071f65 ("Merge tag 'modules-next-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linuxkernel/git/rusty/linux") also removed __SYMBOL_NAME(), hidden in a merge conflict resolution. Hence, replace the use of SYMBOL_NAME() and SYMBOL_NAME_LABEL() in h8300 assembler sources by hardcoding the underscore symbol prefix, like other architectures (blackfin/metag) do. 2011-05-28ns: Wire up the setns system callEric W. Biederman1-0/+1
32bit and 64bit on x86 are tested and working. The rest I have looked at closely and I can't find any problems. setns is an easy system call to wire up. It just takes two ints so I don't expect any weird architecture porting problems. While doing this I have noticed that we have some architectures that are very slow to get new system calls. cris seems to be the slowest where the last system calls wired up were preadv and pwritev. avr32 is weird in that recvmmsg was wired up but never declared in unistd.h. frv is behind with perf_event_open being the last syscall wired up. On h8300 the last system call wired up was epoll_wait. On m32r the last system call wired up was fallocate. mn10300 has recvmmsg as the last system call wired up. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
