2018-03-02mtd: nand: remove useless fields from pxa3xx NAND platform dataMiquel Raynal1-4/+2
The "enable arbiter" bit is available only for pxa3xx based platforms but it was experimentally shown that even if this bit is reserved, some Marvell platforms (64-bit) actually need it to be set. The driver always set this bit regardless of this property, which is harmless. Then this property is not needed. The "num_cs" field is always 1 and for a good reason, the old driver (pxa3xx_nand.c) could only handle one. The new driver that replaces it (marvell_nand.c) can handle more, but better use device tree for such description. As there is only one available chip select, there is no need for an array of partitions neither an array of partition numbers. 2018-02-23mtd: nand: use Marvell reworked NAND controller driver with all platformsMiquel Raynal1-1/+1
Compile marvell_nand.c instead of pxa3xx_nand.c with all PXA based SoCs. Convert all board files and defconfigs so that the new driver is used everywhere instead of the old one. Board files using CONFIG_MTD_NAND_PXA3xx now use CONFIG_MTD_NAND_MARVELL instead. 2011-09-11mtd: pxa3xx_nand: enable multiple chip select supportLei Wen1-2/+3
Current pxa3xx_nand controller has two chip select which both be workable. This patch enable this feature. Update platform driver to support this feature. Another notice should be taken that: When you want to use this feature, you should not enable the keep configuration feature, for two chip select could be attached with different nand chip. This change -- pushing the MFP configuration back into Module files -- is necessary because some evalboards can be used with multiple modules, where MFP differs from module to module. Therefore MFP isn't board-specific, but module-specific and the module should preconfigure itself for the board. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao1-1/+1
delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result.
