2016-06-28ARM: imx: deconstruct mx3_idleArnd Bergmann1-38/+0
The imx31 and imx35 idle functions are almost the same, but we currently have to check the cpu type every time. This can be simplified by moving the logic from mx3_cpu_lp_set() into two separate idle functions, removing the last user of cpu_is_mx35. 2016-02-02ARM: imx: use endian-safe readl/readw/writel/writewJohannes Berg1-2/+2
Instead of __raw_*, define imx_* to *_relaxed and use those. Using imx_* was requested by Arnd because *_relaxed tends to indicate that the code was carefully reviewed to not require any synchronisation and otherwise be safe, which isn't the case here with the automatic conversion. The conversion itself was done using the following spatch (since that automatically adjusts the coding style unlike a simple search&replace). @@ expression E1, E2; @@ -__raw_writel(E1, E2) +imx_writel(E1, E2) @@ expression E1, E2; @@ -__raw_writew(E1, E2) +imx_writew(E1, E2) @@ expression E1; @@ -__raw_readl(E1) +imx_readl(E1) @@ expression E1; @@ -__raw_readw(E1) +imx_readw(E1) Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2012-10-15ARM: imx: include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.hShawn Guo1-1/+1
It moves a bunch of header files included in hardware.h and itself from mach-imx/include/mach to mach-imx, and updates users to include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.h. The files in mach-imx/devices will need to include "../hardware.h". 2012-10-15ARM: imx: include common.h rather than mach/common.hShawn Guo1-1/+2
Rename mach-imx/include/mach/common.h to mach-imx/common.h and update all users to include common.h rather than mach/common.h. It also removes an unneeded inclusion to common.h in mach-imx/devices/devices.c. 2012-10-15ARM: imx: move platform device code into mach-imxShawn Guo1-1/+1
It moves platform device code from plat-mxc into mach-imx. Along with that, header devices-common.h gets moved from plat-mxc/include/mach/ into mach-imx/devices/. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-04-25ARM i.MX3: Make ccm base address a variableSascha Hauer1-2/+2
Instead of having a cpu_is_* in each ccm register access it is more efficient to make it a variable. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2012-03-02ARM: mx3: Let mx31 and mx35 enter in LPM mode in WFIFabio Estevam1-0/+37
The LPM field of register CCMR is used to select the mode that the processor will run when it goes to WFI. When mx31 enters in WFI mode the LPM field is at its reset value of 0, which configures the mx31 to enter in "wait mode". On mx35, the LPM field on mx35 is also at 0 after reset, which corresponds to "run mode" instead of "wait mode". Instead of relying on the reset value of LPM to set the low power mode for WFI, configure mx31 and mx35 to run in "wait mode" Reported-by: Benoit Thebaudeau <benoit.thebaudeau@advansee.com> Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
