2019-03-19ARM: imx51: fix a leaked reference by adding missing of_node_putWen Yang1-0/+1
The call to of_get_next_child returns a node pointer with refcount incremented thus it must be explicitly decremented after the last usage. Detected by coccinelle with the following warnings: ./arch/arm/mach-imx/mach-imx51.c:64:2-8: ERROR: missing of_node_put; acquired a node pointer with refcount incremented on line 57, but without a corresponding object release within this function. 2018-07-12ARM: mx5: Set the DBGEN bit in ARM_GPC registerFabio Estevam1-0/+1
On i.MX51/i.MX53 it is necessary to set the DBGEN bit in ARM_GPC register in order to turn on the debug clocks. The DBGEN bit of ARM_GPC register has the following description in the i.MX53 Reference Manual: "This allows the user to manually activate clocks within the debug system. This register bit directly controls the platform's dbgen_out output signal which connects to the DAP_SYS to enable all debug clocks. Once enabled, the clocks cannot be disabled except by asserting the disable_trace input of the DAP_SYS." Based on a previous patch from Sebastian Reichel. 2018-07-12ARM: imx51: Configure M4IF to avoid visual artifactsFabio Estevam1-1/+28
Configure the M4IF registers as per the vendor bootloader to avoid visual artifacts during video playback. This way we don't need to rely on the bootloader configuration for optimal IPU/VPU bus priorities. 2016-06-28ARM: i.MX: Disable supervisor protect for i.MX51Alexander Shiyan1-0/+2
Most peripherals on the i.MX51 have an Off-Platform Peripheral Access Control Register (OPACR) in which the access rights (together with the MPROT registers) can be declared. However, this does not seem to work for example for SSI1+SDMA, because the supervisor bit is not set for the SDMA unit. A similar problem was described in the patch for i.MX53 CPU (ARM: i.MX53: globally disable supervisor protect), and the same solution is applicable for i.MX51 CPU. Patch has tested on custom board based on Digi CCMX-51 module (i.MX51). Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>

2016-04-25cpufreq: imx: Use generic platdev driverViresh Kumar1-3/+0
The cpufreq-dt-platdev driver supports creation of cpufreq-dt platform device now, reuse that and remove similar code from platform code. Note that the complete routine imx27_dt_init() is removed as of_platform_populate(NULL, of_default_bus_match_table, NULL, NULL); has same effect as a NULL .init_machine machine callback pointer. 2016-02-02ARM: imx: use endian-safe readl/readw/writel/writewJohannes Berg1-3/+2
Instead of __raw_*, define imx_* to *_relaxed and use those. Using imx_* was requested by Arnd because *_relaxed tends to indicate that the code was carefully reviewed to not require any synchronisation and otherwise be safe, which isn't the case here with the automatic conversion. The conversion itself was done using the following spatch (since that automatically adjusts the coding style unlike a simple search&replace). @@ expression E1, E2; @@ -__raw_writel(E1, E2) +imx_writel(E1, E2) @@ expression E1, E2; @@ -__raw_writew(E1, E2) +imx_writew(E1, E2) @@ expression E1; @@ -__raw_readl(E1) +imx_readl(E1) @@ expression E1; @@ -__raw_readw(E1) +imx_readw(E1) Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2014-11-22ARM: imx: clean up machine mxc_arch_reset_init_dt reset initJingchang Lu1-2/+0
System restart mechanism has been changed with the introduction of "kernel restart handler call chain support". The imx2 watchdog based restart handler has been moved to the driver, and these restart can be removed from the machine layer. This patch cleans up the device tree version machine reset init with mxc_arch_reset_init_dt and removes corresponding .restart handler, for the .init_machine that can be handled by system default after removing the mxc_arch_reset_init_dt, the .init_machine is also removed. 2014-10-03cpufreq: cpu0: rename driver and internals to 'cpufreq_dt'Viresh Kumar1-1/+1
The naming convention of this driver was always under the scanner, people complained that it should have a more generic name than cpu0, as it manages all CPUs that are sharing clock lines. Also, in future it will be modified to support any number of clusters with separate clock/voltage lines. Lets rename it to 'cpufreq_dt' from 'cpufreq_cpu0'. 2014-07-18ARM: imx5: remove file mm-imx5.cShawn Guo1-1/+0
The only code left in mm-imx5.c is to create static mapping. While all IMX platform code are moved to use dynamic mapping, the file can just be removed now. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: imx5: move init hooks into mach-imx5x.cShawn Guo1-0/+39
These imx5 init_early[late] hooks are called only from mach-imx5x.c. Let's move them into mach-imx5x.c. While at it, replace the static mapping in imx51_ipu_mipi_setup() with dynamic mapping. Also this function and imx_src_init() do not necessarily to be called at .init_early hook, so move them into .init_machine. The mxc_iomux_v3_init() is dropped from imx51_init_early() in the moving, since it's only needed by non-DT boot. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: imx5: tzic_init_irq() can directly be .init_irq hookShawn Guo1-1/+1
After i.MX51 supports DT only, tzic_init_irq() can figure out the tzic_base on its own. Thus, it can directly be .init_irq hook, and mx51[53]_init_irq() can be saved. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: imx5: drop option MACH_IMX51_DTShawn Guo1-0/+45
Since i.MX51 becomes DT only now, we can drop option MACH_IMX51_DT and just use SOC_IMX51 instead. While at it, rename imx51-dt.c to mach-imx51.c to align with the name schema of other IMX DT only platforms. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
