2013-03-19ARM: kill Hynix h720x platformArnd Bergmann1-30/+0
The platform was merged about 10 years ago, and has seen few updates for most of the time since. The people that merged the code seem no longer interested in it either, so let's remove it now. 2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-2/+2
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. 2012-12-24ARM: set arch_gettimeoffset directlyStephen Warren1-1/+1
remove ARM's struct sys_timer .offset function pointer, and instead directly set the arch_gettimeoffset function pointer when the timer driver is initialized. This requires multiplying all function results by 1000, since the removed arm_gettimeoffset() did this. Also, s/unsigned long/u32/ just to make the function prototypes exactly match that of arch_gettimeoffset. Hook these platforms restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
