2014-05-07ARM: at91: localize GPIO headerLinus Walleij1-222/+0
This moves the <mach/gpio.h> header in the AT91 platform down into the machine directory and removes the reliance on MACH_NEED_GPIO_H from the AT91. This does not move the platform to GENERIC_GPIO but localize the remaining work to be done for this to the mach-at91 folder. This patch adds the support for new PIO controller found on some at91sam SOCs. - more peripheral multiplexing - more features to configure on a PIO (pull-down, Schmitt trigger, debouncer) - support for several IRQ triggering features (type and polarity) Support for those new features are retrieved from the device tree compatibility string. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King1-2/+0
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. According to the documentation gpio_free should only be called from task context only. To make this more explicit add a might sleep to all implementations. This patch changes the gpio_free implementations for the arm architecture. DaVinci is skipped on purpose to simplify the merge process for patches switching it over to use gpiolib as per request by David Brownell.
