2014-08-04hwmon: (pmbus) Add tps40422 front-end driverZhu, Richard \(NSN - CN/Beijing\)2-3/+66
For TI power management chip TPS40422, READ_TEMPERATURE_2 command is supported on page 1 of the chip, but the original driver(pmbus.c) only tried to detect this command on page 0, this will lead to a result that the temperature sensor in page 1 couldn't be detected. 2014-07-31dts: Add bindings for multicast hash bins and perfect filter entriesVince Bridgers1-0/+6
This change adds bindings for the number of multicast hash bins and perfect filter entries supported by the Synopsys EMAC. The Synopsys EMAC core is configurable at device creation time, and can be configured for a different number of multicast hash bins and a different number of perfect filter entries. The device does not provide a way to query these parameters, therefore parameters are required. The Altera Cyclone V SOC has support for 256 multicast hash bins and 128 perfect filter entries, and is different than what's currently provided in the stmmac driver. 2014-07-31x86/mm: New tunable for single vs full TLB flushDave Hansen1-0/+75
Most of the logic here is in the documentation file. Please take a look at it. I know we've come full-circle here back to a tunable, but this new one is *WAY* simpler. I challenge anyone to describe in one sentence how the old one worked. 2014-07-29net: remove deprecated syststamp timestampWillem de Bruijn2-16/+3
The SO_TIMESTAMPING API defines three types of timestamps: software, hardware in raw format (hwtstamp) and hardware converted to system format (syststamp). The last has been deprecated in favor of combining hwtstamp with a PTP clock driver. There are no active users in the kernel. The option was device driver dependent. If set, but without hardware support, the correct behavior is to return zero in the relevant field in the SCM_TIMESTAMPING ancillary message. Without device drivers implementing the option, this field is effectively always zero. Remove the internal plumbing to dissuage new drivers from implementing the feature. Keep the SOF_TIMESTAMPING_SYS_HARDWARE flag, however, to avoid breaking existing applications that request the timestamp. Signed-off-by: Willem de Bruijn <willemb@google.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
