2020-10-26dt-bindings: More whitespace clean-ups in schema filesRob Herring1-9/+9
Clean-up incorrect indentation, extra spaces, and missing EOF newline in schema files. Most of the clean-ups are for list indentation which should always be 2 spaces more than the preceding keyword. Found with yamllint (now integrated into the checks). 2020-10-07dt-bindings: Add missing 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring7-0/+14
This doesn't yet do anything in the tools, but make it explicit so we can check either 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties' is present in schemas. 'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via '$ref') and all possible properties and/or child nodes are not explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'. This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a constant source of review issues. 2020-08-14dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring2-4/+2
Another wack-a-mole pass of killing off unnecessary 'allOf + $ref' usage. json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
