2020-10-07dt-bindings: Use 'additionalProperties' instead of 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring1-1/+5
In cases where we don't reference another schema, 'additionalProperties' can be used instead. This is preferred for now as 'unevaluatedProperties' support isn't implemented yet. In a few cases, this means adding some missing property definitions of which most are for SPI bus properties. 'unevaluatedProperties' is not going to work for the SPI bus properties anyways as they are evaluated from the parent node, not the SPI child node. 2020-10-07dt-bindings: Add missing 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring1-0/+2
This doesn't yet do anything in the tools, but make it explicit so we can check either 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties' is present in schemas. 'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via '$ref') and all possible properties and/or child nodes are not explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'. This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a constant source of review issues. 2020-08-14dt-bindings: Whitespace clean-ups in schema filesRob Herring1-4/+4
Clean-up incorrect indentation, extra spaces, long lines, and missing EOF newline in schema files. Most of the clean-ups are for list indentation which should always be 2 spaces more than the preceding keyword. Found with yamllint (which I plan to integrate into the checks). 2020-01-14dt-bindings: iio: adc: ad7606: Fix wrong maxItems valueBeniamin Bia1-4/+4
This patch set the correct value for oversampling maxItems. In the original example, appears 3 items for oversampling while the maxItems is set to 1, this patch fixes those issues. 2019-10-14dt-bindings: Clean-up regulator '-supply' schemasRob Herring1-4/+1
Regulator '*-supply' properties are always a single phandle, so 'maxItems: 1' or a $ref is not necessary. All that's needed is either 'true' or an optional 'description'. Following this clean-up, the meta-schema will enforce this pattern. There's one case in tree with 'innolux,n156bge-l21' having 2 phandles. This appears to be a mistake or abuse of simple-panel as it's 2 different voltage rails connected to 'power-supply'.
