The i2c-gpio binding is the only case of 'not: true' being used for a
deprecated property. Update it to use the json-schema 2019.09
'deprecated' keyword instead. Define the type too in order to keep the
meta-schema happy.
This will disable warnings for these properties until the dtschema tools
are updated to handle 'deprecated', but they are only used in a few at91
dts files.

A conversion of the i2c-pxa binding to DT schema format using json-schema.
This also cleans ups some errors in the binding: The compatible string
description suggested that "mmp" in "mrvl,mmp-twsi" is to be substituted
with a processor model, which wouldn't be a right thing to do and indeed
nobody seems to have been doing that. There also was "Recommended
properties" section that included optional as well as mandatory
properties. Missing mandatory properties were added to the example.

Pull i2c updates from Wolfram Sang:
"I2C has quite some patches for you this time. I hope it is the move to
per-driver-maintainers which is now showing results. We will see.
The big news is two new drivers (Nuvoton NPCM and Qualcomm CCI),
larger refactoring of the Designware, Tegra, and PXA drivers, the
Cadence driver supports being a slave now, and there is support to
instanciate SPD eeproms for well-known cases (which will be
user-visible because the i801 driver supports it), and some
devm_platform_ioremap_resource() conversions which blow up the
diffstat.
Note that I applied the Nuvoton driver quite late, so some minor fixup
patches arrived during the merge window. I chose to apply them right
away because they were trivial"

dtc currently doesn't support I2C_OWN_SLAVE_ADDRESS flag set in the
i2c "reg" property. If dtc finds an i2c-slave sub-node having an address
higher than ten-bits wide it'll print an ugly warning:
Warning (i2c_bus_reg): /example-2/i2c@1120000/eeprom@64: I2C bus unit address format error, expected "40000064"
Warning (i2c_bus_reg): /example-2/i2c@1120000/eeprom@64:reg: I2C address must be less than 10-bits, got "0x40000064"
In order to silence dtc up let's replace the corresponding DT binding
example with a normal DW I2C master mode-based one. It's done by clearing
the I2C_OWN_SLAVE_ADDRESS bit in the reg property and converting the
sub-node to be compatible with normal EEPROM like "atmel,24c02".
Just revert this commit when dtc is fixed.

Modern device tree bindings are supposed to be created as YAML-files
in accordance with dt-schema. This commit replaces Synopsys DW I2C
legacy bare text bindings with YAML file. As before the bindings file
states that the corresponding dts node is supposed to be compatible
either with generic DW I2C controller or with Microsemi Ocelot SoC I2C
one, to have registers, interrupts and clocks properties. In addition
the node may have clock-frequency, i2c-sda-hold-time-ns,
i2c-scl-falling-time-ns and i2c-sda-falling-time-ns optional properties.

json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that
any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct
form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed
in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other
keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the
tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works.
This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this
treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax.

The HDMI blocks in the BCM2771 have an i2c controller to retrieve the
EDID. This block is split into two parts, the BSC and the AUTO_I2C,
lying in two separate register areas.
The AUTO_I2C block has a mailbox-like interface and will take away the
BSC control from the CPU if enabled. However, the BSC is the actually
the same controller than the one supported by the brcmstb driver, and
the AUTO_I2C doesn't really bring any immediate benefit.
We can model it in the DT as a single device with two register range,
which will allow us to use or or the other in the driver without
changing anything in the DT.

Convert the UniPhier I2C controller (FIFO-less) binding to DT schema
format.
There are two types of I2C controllers used on the UniPhier platform.
This is the legacy one without FIFO support, which is used on the
sLD8 SoC or older.

The at91 I2C controller can support bus recovery by re-assigning SCL
and SDA to gpios. Add the optional pinctrl and gpio properties to do
so.

Pull i2c updates from Wolfram Sang:
"i2c core:
- huge improvements and refactorizations of the Linux I2C
documentation (lots of thanks to Luca for doing it and Jean for the
careful review)
- subsystem wide API conversion to i2c_new_client_device()
- remove obsolete parport-light driver
- smaller core updates (removal of 'extern', enabling more compile
testing, use more helper macros)
- and quite a bunch of driver updates (new IDs, simplifications,
better PM, support of atomic transfers and other improvements)
i2c-mux:
- The main feature is the idle-state rework of the pca954x driver
from Biwen Li
at24 driver:
- minor maintenance: update the license tag, sort headers
- move support for the write-protect pin into nvmem core
- add a reference to the new wp-gpios property in nvmem to at25
bindings
- add support for regulator and pm_runtime control"
