From a7f7f6248d9740d710fd6bd190293fe5e16410ac Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Masahiro Yamada Date: Sun, 14 Jun 2020 01:50:22 +0900 Subject: treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help' Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada --- drivers/eisa/Kconfig | 10 +++++----- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) (limited to 'drivers/eisa') diff --git a/drivers/eisa/Kconfig b/drivers/eisa/Kconfig index ffc894b4d782..c8bbf90209f5 100644 --- a/drivers/eisa/Kconfig +++ b/drivers/eisa/Kconfig @@ -9,7 +9,7 @@ config HAVE_EISA menuconfig EISA bool "EISA support" depends on HAVE_EISA - ---help--- + help The Extended Industry Standard Architecture (EISA) bus was developed as an open alternative to the IBM MicroChannel bus. @@ -26,7 +26,7 @@ config EISA_VLB_PRIMING bool "Vesa Local Bus priming" depends on X86 && EISA default n - ---help--- + help Activate this option if your system contains a Vesa Local Bus (VLB) card that identify itself as an EISA card (such as the Adaptec AHA-284x). @@ -37,7 +37,7 @@ config EISA_PCI_EISA bool "Generic PCI/EISA bridge" depends on !PARISC && PCI && EISA default y - ---help--- + help Activate this option if your system contains a PCI to EISA bridge.
